Sweet. Honestly, I didn't catch the Moore references. I'll have to go back and look, now. Lol.
I did find it humorous when he blew up the bar, though. |

I laughed out loud in the library reading it. When you see him driving down the mountain, he's got this very Alan Moore look and then just as he's coming up on the bar it has a sign for "Moore Beer" or something like that. And then he blows it up.
His personality is also a lot like Moore's, since Moore hates people and seems to shy away from his fans. I'm sure he'd be happier living in seclusion on a mountain as well. |

I loved that reference it was kind of a shock. Oh he's Alan Moore and now he's a hairless Alan Moore.
Do you want to read the second Phoenix? |

Finished the first one. I dislike how it ends, with him destroying the Religion Fair. I feel like he had more potential.
I understand what it represents, but I was hoping for more. Anyway, I like so far. The character is a well written psycho. Most writers can't pull it off just right. |

I've only read the first three books. Pretty good so far.
I like the Alan Moore references in the first book. |

This comic book series is my absolute favortie. It follows our main character Spider Jerusalem, a retired gonzo journalist who is trust back into a city of lies, drugs, sex, and political corruption. |
