I'd really have to say that it really depends. If I'm playing a game like Oblivion, PC all the way, just for the mod community. Same goes for Fallout or a lot of other games.
However, I also really enjoy the controls on the consoles. Dual sticks are much easier for general movement and navigation than a mouse and keyboard. But at the same time, there has yet to be a great RTS game on the console. So... PC = FPS, RTS. Console = Everything else. |

It depends on the game. I generally prefer playing with my friends who all own the Xbox 360 so I like the multiplayer aspect of that, though PC owners tend to be a bit more mature online. Single player, on the other hand, I would have to give my support fully to the PC. This is also true for MMOs. |

Originally posted by Xeus Heh, well mine isn't built for that. It's great for everything but games. Don't get me wrong, it's a great laptop. It just doesn't have the necessities to be a gaming machine. |

That's odd. My laptop was my desktop for 3-4 years, lol. I did games and everything on it. |

I have never played a game on my PC. Because I have a laptop.
I'm not necessarily against it, I've just never tried it myself. I must say, though, the 360 is pretty hard to beat with shooters. But, like Bitmap said, everything has its ups and downs. For all I know, the PC is better at 'this' or 'that'. Videogames are videogames, really. |

PC, for the win.
If you trust in the right companies, games become optimized well for every graphics card etc, and the control schemes are set up appropriately. Any Valve game is amazing on PC, and Blizzard seems to know their way around the PC in general. I prefer shooters on the PC, the aiming is so precise it's beautiful. There are however, many things the PC needs to have some improvement in, certain movement controls could be improved, and third person adventure games don't work too well. All in all, the PC is my queen, I honor her daily. |

I personally hate console vs arguments. All sorts of systems have their ups and downs and each person has their own perspective on which console is their choice. |

Eh, I like both. |

so Ive been having a discussin with some friends about whether pcs are better or consoles, especially with shooters.
personally I like shooters a lot more on xbox, because pc gets pretty annoying and the keyboard isnt comfortable. |
