I'm not sure to be honest. I have a friend who playes this game in Windows XP mode and it runs just as good playing it on win7. |

Supreme Commander was a very worthy successor (still need to play the second game). But yeah, it has nothing on TA. It may not have the deepest plot or whatnot, but the gameplay, usermade units and all that more than made up for everything else! Definitely one of my favorites in genre and still one of my favorite soundtracks from Jeremy Soule.
I own all this stuff already, but for $6 to be CDless and have everything? Very tempting. How's the game run on Win7... if you know Bitmap? Experimental units were the best. Krogoth = God. Also, Big Bertha. |

Buy this game and it's expansions for $5.99
So what is Total Annihilation? Let's ask if you have played Supreme Commander. You know, that one game where you can have literally hundreds of units on the screen at one time on a huge map? Well, Total Annihilation was created by the same devs. However, it's in pixel form. And not as deep. But it's still a great game. You have to harvest metal and generate power in order to build your forces. There isn't a cap on how far you can generate or dig. All you need to worry about is build, expand, and annihilate. |
