Too true, and I guess you're pretty right. Regardless this wouldn't be a miracle overnight either way. Let's certainly hope this goes somewhere though for the best. |

Well, it's sort of like every great human achievement.
Look at books. For centuries only the most wealthy could read or buy books, especially when books were handwritten. Then they became more readily available through movable type, and now there are books everywhere. Not to compare a complex medical procedure to mass production, but I suppose we should rejoice in the fact that there's progress. Unfortunately, however, those who are sick now may not be helped. I'm sure the doctors are only interested in saving lives; their administrators, the drug companies, and so on might be more interested in their wallets. |

I can only hope that this makes the United States see the potential in at least researching stem cells.
Not going to get my hopes up too much, but congrats to the doctors who achieved this. |
