I had a recurring issue with one on my left ear, on that bottom bit of skin. Popped it, drained it, couple months later it came back. It helped, though, that my dad was a medic and had more than enough medical supplies on-hand.
And if anything so much as brushed against it - a strong enough gust of wind even - it hurt like hell. So yeah. I feel for ya. |

You might want to get it checked out to make sure it isn't infected. The one time I had a cyst and popped it myself, it came back just as bad and when I went into the doctor I found out it was MRSA. That sucked, trust me. |

Dude, that sucks big time...
It's one thing to have a giant cyst, it's another to have the bastard grow back again because the doctor didn't get it all out the first time! The one on my head ended up growing back and became twice the size as before only for the doctor to charge the family again to remove it a second time... it was bullshit. It was a sebaceous cyst, so if you hadn't ruptured the bastard in the first place, I wouldn't have needed to come back! |

Oh....haha....it grew back....ugh
E- Let;s just say I had a moment where I did pop it and I pushed all of the puss out. Well here I am and now it's back again. But this time, it's the same size. However this time it's not marble size, it's a little less than that, and I can easily pop it again. However, here is the main problem: I'm still bandaged. Which means it's either two things: 1- I'm infected. It's growing at a rapid rate 2- I did not get all of it out. Which means I have to cut myself open again. Which sucks. Mind you the way I did it before I had a nurse in training who was authorized to do this kinda work with a knife, gloves, and hard pressure. So all of this work was done for free. It sucked ass. And it was like a pimple, but it still sucked. But I need to go back to get the rest of the puss out. It's...awful. |

Originally posted by Elara Blood poisoning is when you get harmful amounts of bacteria in your blood stream. It's also called sepsis, septicemia, and referred to as the patient being septic. You get it by basically having an infection... and it spreading to other organ systems (including the blood). Anyway, I hope you are on some good antibiotics and get that abscess cleared up/cut out or whatever they're going to do with it. |

Originally posted by Elara It's quite fascinating, really. Horse was bitten by a snake and the guy was popping the abscess. Again, I really hope you come out of this OK, Bitmap. I'm certain you will. |

You are very strong-willed to do it yourself... but don't you need antibiotics or something?
I hope it isn't blood poisoning, and that regardless of the details you emerge healthy and whole. I am kinda curious as to how one can get blood poisoning anyway. ... I am too afraid to click play on the horse video. |

I'm sorry that this is all happening to you, Sagin, but it's great that it's not to that stage. I truly hope you come out of this 100% well and intact.
But look at it this way. At least you're not a horse: |

**has PCOS** Yah, I know what cysts are. But I hope all is well, and I sincerely hope they get back to you as quickly as possible. Even if it is blood poisoning, I'm glad that they're telling you not to worry and seem optimistic on this being the early stage for treatment. |

This time it's in my right hand.
I went to see a doctor about it and he took a blood sample of it and guess fucking what: There is a high possibility that I might have blood poisoning in my right arm itself. Which is bad. There are already signs of the whole thing happening. But it's not 100% sure yet. What happens when it's a full blown Blood poisoning? Basically I lose feeling in that area and later I will develop bone deterioration. Which finally means that I will have to have the arm removed. THANKFULLY. It's not that stage. Which means I have a little while to have it removed; if the case if that I have blood poisoning. Doc basically told me not to worry. And if I have to have the Cyst removed it won't cost me a dime. If you don't know what a Cyst is: NOT SAFE FOR WORK! |
