Yeah I remember you talking about some fires in the past. That's super weird how it just flows with nature and other things though... what the hell. |

Dante Magus? Haven't heard that name in a while, assuming it's that one to which you are referring. What part of Arizona, do you know?
Well, the news is reporting the fires are slowing in Texas, so that's good. We've been having our own fires here, but such is living in an arid climate by the beach. I'll take wildfires and earthquakes over hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, cancer from granitic radiation, and Floridians any day. Wildfires are, for the most part, natural here (although much damage is due to people not knowing how to clear chaparral). We've even got wildflowers that only grow after a burn, their seeds lying dormant in the soil until the fire triggers their growth. Pretty nifty of nature. |

Wonder how Benja and Dante are doing....
But yeah, I think this is the first time ever that I am not concerned about fires... which is interesting since I am surrounded by forest... just a heavily rained on forest. |

We're having a few fires here in southern Oregon as well, though nothing nearly as bad as there. |

Supposedly they're going through their worst drought ever. |

Wow, is it the dryness or something? Jeeze... |

Oh man, my friend living in Houston was telling me about how he saw six forest fires on the way to a state wildlife park. Just the DRIVE there. |

Yeah, if I had stayed with my long-term, long distance boyfriend, I'd probably be living in Dallas right now.
I heard on the news this is like they're 280th day fighting fires and they've had 122 just in the last week. Jesus. |

I have some internet friends who live close to the area and I just recently heard from them saying that the fire is a good 20 miles from their homes.
Seriously hope it does not reach them. |

Welp, looks like texas has a couple of wildfires. Ah who am I kidding. IT'S ON FUCKING FIRE RIGHT NOW!
Here is the current situation: For all of you texas Xeogaming folks out there. Please, for the love of God get off the internet and take everything you have and LEAVE the area. ASAP. Heard this fire is insane and not easily containable. |
