Baki the Grappler with fewer complete douchebags and more martial arts masters that stick mostly to teaching a single, semi-reluctant student who has no talent at all. xD
That's the main thing about Kenichi, he's crafted by his masters out of pure effort, because he completely lacks any innate talent for martial arts, and he's constantly finding himself fighting against very talented people (who still train hard). |

This isn't exactly a new show or anything, but the manga itself is ongoing.
The gist of it is some kid is a total wimp, and at some point vows to get strong enough to stand up to the violence and bad people that most everybody typically ignores because they can't do anything about it. This kid finds himself at a dojo with a bunch of really crazy and amazing masters of various martial arts, and becomes the disciple of all of them. At the same time. If you love fighting and martial arts shows/manga, by all means look this up. It's got great action, and is hilarious. |
