There is only one solution to this problem.
Extermination |

Genocide would be targeted... what we need is a plague or something. A new one. Or a major meteor strike.
But yeah... there are way too many people. |

Come onnnnn some crazy thing that knocks us down about 2 billion.
Just kidding, genocide is for uncreative losers. I am more into the idea of space stations. |

So the United Nations claims that as of midnight Oct. 30, the world hit a landmark population of 7 billion people. Many disagree, however. The United States Census Bureau claims the number is off by 28 million and that the we won't reach 7 billion until March of next year. Based on their global population clock, "255 people are born every minute (about 367,000 a day) while about 106 die (roughly 153,000 a day) ... the world’s natural increase would be about 78.5 million a year, or well more than the entire population of France, Britain or Thailand." Of course, that paragraph was followed by a quote from the UN saying population clocks are silly and that there is no way of really knowing how many people there are in the world, so the debate continues. Anyway, what are your thoughts on population growth or the idea that we have (or are about to) hit 7 billion on the globe? |
