Hey Rogue the chick has a good point but she has a HUGE case of GOTIS.

My husband likes vampires and will read pretty much anything on them. He thought it was just a cute love story. He also likes the fact that most authors end their vampire tells in a cliff hanger. She ended her's in a big THE END. That's it. The newest movie was pretty cute and the next one is going to be like Deathly Hallows part 2. It's going to be a huge fight scene.

Yeah, I think that has been my biggest beef with this series... Edward is a creepy, manipulative stalker and essentially a pedophile, while Bella is basically the anti-modern woman. The Rifftrax are funny, but the actual plot is fucking disturbing.

Twilight Rifftrax is definitely worth it. Same as the Bayformers movies, I've only seen the second one with Rifftrax.

I never like to judge anything unless I try it myself or if it's balls to the wall insane. But as far as entertainment goes; I tend to try it out before I really say anything.

I've seen Twilight. Kinda. Rifftrax's version of it. Personally speaking, it's the only way I could really watch it.

Honestly I came here to post that. Watch it. It's hilarious.

In all honesty, I've never had a problem with Twilight itself. Sure, the fanbase was annoying, but I've always felt people are entitled to their fandoms and never really passed judgement on those who like it (well, except for the occasional fan who's really lost it that I have to deal with in person... thank you, Comic-Con for that privilege).

Anyway, I've never read the books, seen the films, or really discussed it all at length, but this girl apparently has:

It's kind of amazing how objectionable a book designed for teenage girls has become, but if its readers are coming away with this poisoned idea of love, this does need to be addressed.

It's been a shame seeing the 50-somethings into this (or Twi-Moms as they're called), but then again I'm sure they're well-read in the rape fantasies that fill romance novels these days. Seriously, though, asking a 17-year-old boy to sign your thong?
