Treasure Island is a great choice!
Um... well... for Ben I got a Penguins hat and the Amazon version of the Danbo figurine from Yotsuba!... I ended up paying like $70 for it on Ebay, so I do hope the cats don't destroy it. For his mom we split the cost of a Penguins sweater with Dupis (#9) number on it. My parents are probably getting gift cards. I got greeting cards for pretty much everyone else... not able to really send a whole lot this year. |

Haven't gotten anything yet, except for picking up books at Barnes & Noble to fulfill my mom's donation to the her church.
She pulled one of those ornaments off the tree, that signifies the wish of a needy child whose parents can't afford to get them anything, and the kid wanted books at the 8th grade reading level. She said she couldn't figure out what that meant, so the boyfriend and I spent two hours (because I'm that much of a lame ass) walking around the store debating what to get and ended up getting a leather bound copy of Treasure Island and paperback of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. |

Things prevent such kindnesses. Like trying to save money to go to New Zealand, bills, not working full time, too much school, not enough time… etc. |

So what did you get your friends and family for Christmas>
- Mom A Poloroid digital picture frame. It can hold 16 GB of space and produce HD pictures. Bought on Newegg for $50. Normal price is $145. So I got a steal of a deal. - Dad Battlefield 3 as well as a RADEON HD 6950 2GB for $200. So he can at least run it. This is better than my graphics card! However... - Bitmap RADEON HD 6970 2GB Graphics card and an extra 4GB memory stick. Taking my on board memory up to 8GB. But the fun bus does not stop there! I also bought a 80 GB SSD as well as NOD32. I also purchased some exhaust fans for my computer. All of this was about $400 total with everything I bought. What did you get your family for Christmas? |
