That's literally it?
I really need to play Civilization V. |

My final list makes me feel like I have dropped the ball in comparison.
Dragon Age Inquisition (PC) Civilization V (PC)... yes, I know there is no real beating this game, but I got my first victory. |

Thanks to COD taking up myself until the end of July, I never completed anything last year.
(Unless you counted SMAS SMB1, but had to use a fuckton of save states on 8-2 and 8-3, used one on 8-4, and skipped most worlds. The only other time I beat it on SNES was on the actual console, two years ago, without entering a single pipe except when it's required to access in the level (1-2, 2-2, 4-2, 7-2, 8-4). Stopped playing COD except pre-COD4 because they turned to slushy dog shit after that. |

Every Metal Gear game (mainline series, plus Rising). This is all in preparation for MGSV. |

My friends and I binged Until Dawn yesterday and finished it, it was an awesome ride! It's definitely a lot better than Heavy Rain with more ambiguous choices and the fact that everyone can make it out alive or everyone can die spices it all up. We only got out with 2 survivors of 8 haha. I was really impressed with how good the game looked too, and it used fixed camera angles via classic Resident Evil style and all, but did it so well. Definitely worth checking out if you have a PS4. |

Banjo-Kazooie (near-100%; didn't get all Mumbo tokens.)
Fuck that fucking engine room. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Not 100%, not DLC missions either. Haven't put it down yet, not completely. |

The Templar mission going inside that guys head or something? Yeah that stuff was amazing.
I forgot about that huge choice. I think it changes up things big time and the types of enemies you'll face in the game. |
Elara Posts: 9089/9736 |
I've gone with some different choices with my second game that has made the game feel different. The biggest one really has to be going Templar over Mage this time.
Dude... just... dude..... It was SO hard for me to do it because I am really pro-mage in the Dragon Age universe, but I have to say that the whole mission for the Templars was so much cooler than the Mages, and I thought the Mage was one pretty badass the first time around. I also kept the alliance with the Qunari. It is interesting to see the difference in Iron Bull's dialogue. |
Xeoman Posts: 10801/11757 |
I'm a little scared to replay that one honestly... gotta be prepared to sink another 70 hours haha. I do think the dialogue was even better than Mass Effect though. I'm a bigger sci-fi fan and love the ME series, but no matter how hard they try the dialogue/paths still feel very black and white. Inquisition on the other hand felt like it had a lot of ambiguous gray line which I dig in RPG's. Probably the best I've seen since KOTOR 2. Crossing my fingers the next ME games come off a little more mature like these. |

That is actually what I am doing... as a Qunari mage to be exact. So far it is interesting... but since I don't have a shit ton of ice spells, the dragon fight in the Hinterlands is NOT fun... I think I know what I am investing in next level. |

I'd like to play that one again as a mage. |

Dragon Age: Inquisition + Jaws of Hakkon DLC (bear puns, so many bear puns!)
Currently on second playthrough... because I am weird. |

It's all in moderation! Haha maybe that's it, I don't know. I think the list tracking has helped keep me focused and motivated to see games through to the end. I only play 1-3 or so at a time too. Once a gamer always a gamer... still my main hobby so there's always time for it haha. |

Xeo, how do you even have time to breath? Those are so many games, and they aren't short either! Haha |
Xeoman Posts: 10731/11757 |
Well those Dragon Age games are huge haha.

Dragon Age II
Dragon Age Inquisition. Dang, those are some pretty awesome games. Assassin's Creed Rogue I've been slacking off on my gaming recently. |

I think keeping a list helps me haha.
That and a funny way I organize games on my shelf now. Separating beaten stuff from the non-beaten/non-played games. |

I can't actually finish games anymore.
I somehow manage to do the whole "do 90% of the work and then stop" on games. This year, the first victim is |

1. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (PS4) 2. Demon's Souls* NG+++ (PS3) [PLATINUM] 3. Castlevania (WiiUVC) 4. Dragon Age Inquisition (PS4) 5. Super Castlevania 4* (WiiUVC) * = replay Trying... keyword [i[trying to tackle some of the non-Metroidvania Castlevania games this year, but damn they are brutal! I had to resort to the Wii U save states for Castlevania 1... but I still managed to get by. lol I tried to like Castlevania 2, but yeah I don't know. Castlevania 3 I'm not sure how I feel about too with all the characters and backtracking. Dracula X... not really feeling it. Super, always been a fan of this one though so I tackled it again. Great stuff. Rondo of Blood, now this one is awesome... but pretty damn tough. Thankfully it has level select and saves. |
