My party, for a Melee character on the Light side (Sentinel, Watchman, Guardian, Weaponmaster), was typically Handmaiden/Disciple for double pistols (or double sabers later) and Kreia (for male characters) or Atton (for female characters). Handmaiden becomes a Guardian, so a Consular would be helpfu. But Female characters get Disciple, who goes from double-pistol Soldier to (the fuck..?) Consular, so you don't need two of 'em. Dark Side Melee characters usually have Visas and whoever else I feel like bringing along (typically Kreia for more Dark Side options).

As for my Light Side Jedi Master... Handmaiden and Visas. His single lightsaber wasn't as good as their lightsabers.... Handmaiden had two, and Visas had a double-bladed.

Xeo: If you play at low levels, Force Storm isn't so good. Its damage is almost entirely based on your level. If you do play at low levels, go with Force Scream. As an added bonus, I don't think any shields can guard against Sonic damage. I still like Force Wave. Shove 'em into walls! The Stun effect is also nice.

Force Storm = Gawd. Really helps in a pinch. Especially in the Sith Academy at the end. Can easily wipe out a horde of Sith and wipe out a bunch so the rest are easy pickings. My charactor, Juno, was really stacked attack wise. Destroying the triple lightsabers was as easy as pie...with some retreats here and there.

The Secret Tomb was fun. Fighting Malak was interesting. Even though he was pretty wimpy. =/

I usually kept one Jedi with me, and Mandalore backing me up with blaster support. Just in case us frontline people get owned, he is farther back, and for some quick shots in on the enemy before we close in. You can annihilate a whole squad of Sith commandos with one gunner. Run around and Rapid Shot them ll down every once in a while...Master Rapid Shot, that is.

Nice.

Again, I've only gone through the game once.
(I did borrow it from a friend, so I pretty much had to give it back)

Force Storm is something I wish I would have had for my main character, it's apparently one of the best Force Abilities out there.

I usually played along with 2 other Jedi's that were constantly supporting me with Force powers, so honestly, with that setup the game was pretty easy.

I'm working on it now. Larraine, unfortunately, didn't do too well in the Secret Tomb, so she lost quite a bit of Light Side points, but she uses no Dark powers whatsoever. Jake, while extremely close to Light Mastery, still made use of Death Field (or Force Storm, or Force Scream... maybe it was all of 'em...). Of course, the former is a Guardian/Weaponmaster; she doesn't need offensive Force powers. The latter was a Consular/Master. He needed offensive Force powers. He used Force Push more than anything, though. *WHAM!*

Force Heal for instance, I couldn't imagine playing through the game without that Force ability.

thats why u go good until you meet Bastilia on the unknown world. when you talks to her, u tell her ur the new Sith Lord. you get a huge shift towards dark, and u should be neutral if u were all good. i like playing how i play, but i usually end up being a neutral chara (i pick the one thats good, but i get payed a little for it.)... my second time like i said i was all evil. the one downside is that you gotta have alot of health kits, cause your cure and health restore powers will cost to much to use... that sucks when ur not with bastilia or any other jedi.

While staying neutral prevents penalties for using powers of opposed alignments, you don't get discounts on any powers. =/

That, and it's a pain in the ass to stay constantly neutral...

games like KOTOR reward players on both sides. If you play Light side, you can use alot of Cure powers, keeping your health high. You also have alot of protection from the other things, like the force and weapons. the dark side has all the force strike. they can easily cut threw swaths of enemies quickly with mastered force lightning. the best thing ive found in KOTOR 1 is to play ALL light all the way until the unknown world. pick up some dark side powers along the way, and when you meet Bastila on the planet, tell her your the new Sith Lord. BOOM! instant crapload of dark side. you should be about neutral, so you will use both sides without using more force for each side. It might also be good to get Bastila some good dark side so when you get her back as evil, she will have a huge advantage when you face Malak...

Oh, Sion? Pssh. I defeated him Physically and with my words.

I went through, defeated him, and went in search to destroy the remaining Sith in the Academy. That Force Storm is really freakin' deadly.

All I have left it Traya. I'll finish her tomorrow. Than watch the Dark ending. This game seemed short for some reason. I wish there was more to it than this. Ah well. =/

Play it again, as the Light Side.

But yeah, it wasn't "too" long for me either. Took me around 30 hours to complete, but for a game in this day an age, I'd say that's a decent amount of time.

Fine, then... *Force Storms Spartan* Screw power conduits, I'll do it myself.

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS, AND BATTLE STRATEGIES! DO NOT READ IF YOU THINK THIS GAME IS EASY - IT'S ABOUT TO GET A LOT EASIER.

Nihilus. And if he was easy, you should have no trouble with Sion or Traya.

Here's the drill for Sion: Dialogue, Force Enlightenment, Master Flurry/Power Attack/Critical Strike, more dialogue, more Enlightenment, more lightsaber. Repeat as needed.

For Traya: Dialogue, Force Enlightenment, Master Whatever. Pretty easy.

For the Floating Lightsabers: Stasis Field (it works. ), or run around to single 'em out.

There. Final battles simplified.

I have so much cash I don't know what to do with it all. Me, and my companiona re pretty damn strong, and my dual Lightsabers, individually are very, very powerful. So with each being kickass material, weilding two really causes damage. I just finished defeating Darth Whatshisface (The Funky Guy with the white mask) very easily. And there I was expecting a tough battle. Master Vaklu was more of a challenge than that!

*overloads the power conduit next to Spartan*

Again, I hate random violence, that's why I wasn't Dark. I'm playing through with a Sith Assassin now, though... Still, I like Force Wave more than Force Storm... It knocks people around.

i Maxed out Persuasion Computer use and repair then went on to get my other stuff really high and make lightsaber parts...I would make blades and such...

I had alot of fun with the game so many mean things you can do.

*Throws lightsabers and decapitates another Ithorian.*

OKAY OKAY I AM DONE...

I prefer Computer Use and Repair. I like to make my own blasters, since my luck with finding them is typically bad, and I like to use computers and droids to do the killing for me. I repair the explosive Protocol Droids in the Enclave Sublevel, I use computers to overload power conduits and make turrets backfire...

I always have high persuade. I'm one of those few people who actually convinced someone I was Revan in the first game.

Then again ... yes, I was "very" Persuasive in that game. (That was one of my highest skills)

So, maybe I did kind of ... get stuff under the table here and there a few times.

Best part of the game.

Well, in real life, I would easily lean towards the Light side. It's not like I'm forcing mean responses, just keeping with the flow. However, I am not completely Dark. Although my meter is about 9/10ths of the way to the bottom, I have had my share of Light responses.

And I now have a Padawan - sorta. Atton is on his way to becoming a Dark Jedi Sentinel.

I remember hearing that everyone likes the DarkSide more, and it's the "Easiest" way to play the game.

And honestly, I don't really enjoy just killing for no point at all.

But, then I'm no where near being a "Hey, I'll help you! x50" kind of person either.

So, I picked Sort of Light. Just the kind of player I am, and maybe even in real life ... I sometimes do things for the better of myself, but I lean towards the Good Side overall. Someparts in KOTOR II I went ahead and went agains't the real "Goody Goody" stuff to get money, or something like that.

Money was always an issue for me in KOTOR II, since I was probably 90% Light, I'd usually end up "Giving away" many things.

I'm not saying the DarkSide sucks or anything, but I'm just more of a "Kind of Good / Neutral" kind of person.
