I have absolutely no idea how you could come up with the idea that Obi-Wan put water on Anakin, or stopped the fire? ...

I just think Obi-Wan basically "left him there to die". I believe Obi-Wan just couldn't deal a final blow, he was too close to Anakin to bring himself to deliver his death. He probably thought he was going to die anyways, when he was caught on fire and burned away. Therefore he left him feeling he had completed his task.

I mostly agree with Desroth's point of view about the bad parts of the movie.... but heres mine:

1. Agreed, the Jedi were killed off way to easily.

2. Even though knowing that Anakin would turn corupted by the darkside and eventually turn into Darth Vader, I wanted to see him help Windu kill Palpatine. It was obvious since episode 1 that Anakin would turn into Darth Vader, but you have to feel sorry for him (I do) he lost his mom, none of the Jedi understood him (he just wanted to be a Jedi Master after all) and even after he turned evil, Padme was against him even though I think she could have made him turn back.

3. Yoda held back.

4. Jedi temple thing was just...ugh!

Not if he lost alot of water. Basically, the surrounding Obi-Wan and Anakin is extremely hot and make fighting way hard (yet they fight like the environment was a forest). Now if Anakin and Obi-Wan fight for nearly 10 or 5 minutes, both should be having most of their water would be used as energy to survive. Beside, when you are set on fire, your bones and organ would also burn and if a small fire burn your brain, you wouldn't have much time to live. I mean... if your head is set on fire for nearly 5 seconds or so, doesn't it effect your brain since your brain is the most important organ of your body?

You know... if Anakin would roll when he was on fire, it would make a little sense since the old motto: Stop, drop, and roll.

No...No. No. You are very wrong. Yes, battlign in a hot environment would use yup water, but there is NO WAY it could use up so much water in your body that a fire could be in there...think about it. If that was the case, they'd both die anyway. You don't know what you're tlaking about, I'm afraid. And no, fires do not go inside your body. THere isnt enough unused oxygen floating around in there to keep them up, and it doesn't maqke sense anyway. You are wrong in every respect. Please stop.

And about Grievous's heart, I think you get the impression he would have died from the first shot, but Obi Wan jsut gave him a couple more for good measure.

number 3 makes sense... it takes a while to burn a human body down to ashes....

Anakin was only on fire for a few seconds.... it's not a big surprise that he didn't die.... sure he was not likely to live if someone didn't save him.... but fire isn't fatal....

D.P. I understand to number 1, but here is a question. Hearts is really soft tissue in our body but if he got a motor heart, wouldn't he was going to overheat himself since his hearts would not function correctly thanks to plasma laser?

Also... a nice bonus question too... Why can't General Greivous throw the damn javelin at Obi-Wan just before he get the gun? I would have done that since how Obi-Wan might have a hard time to pick of 2 weapons at the same time.

Number 2: Make sense... Then couldn't he just heal himself or drain someone's power and grow darker???

Number 3: Yeah, I know Obi-Wan did say he "loved" him... But when you are set on fire, doesn't the fire work all the way through the body, heart, brain, etc. and eventually kill him? Because I failed to see how Anakin managed to survive until Obi-Wan used his own force to stop the flame from spending throughout his entire body. But it make NO sense since the fire on a human and spread throughout the body would still leave a guy alive, even a minimal amount... It should have reduce him to ashes!

But I do have huge problem with the movie.

- General Greivous got shooted in the hearts 3 times before he died. Ot-kay... but could you honestly tell me how a hearts survive 3 plasma shots before it burst out? And if Greivous wield 4 lightsabers at the same time and fight Obi-Wan, while Obi-Wan only wield one lightsaber, how could Obi-Wan could survive all by using a single lightsaber if General Greivous kept a good offense attack going?
- And after fixing Darth Vader up again, the way he lost his arm and leg after fighting Obi-Wan, how would he use his force if all he have was two robot arms, and two robot legs?
- Can Obi-Wan just kick him for the heck of it too? I understand he want his student to suffer but really, kick him into the lava, and let the lava kill him. Afterall, you wouldn't deal the final blow, just the environment would take it natural course.

1. Grevious got shot 3 times before he died, yes, but afterall, he is a droid. When his heart was shot, it is kinda like a "motor", and can probabaly function fora little bit longer after being shot. And not everyone dies right away after they are shot in the heart. It sometimes takes a bit. And that's what happened. 3 shot to take him down quick, and for good.

2. You don't need organic arms and legs to use the force. The force is in the person, and all around them. He just chanelled the force through the robotics arms, that's all.

3. Obi-Wan did say he "loved" Anakin. Maybe he didn't want to end it so quick? Or maybe he just thought he was screwed anyway, I mean, it's pretty hard to survive being stuck near a river of lava burned horribly all over, have your arms and legs cut off, and have some slight inuries from a previous fight. Obi-Wan couldn't foresee Palpatine coming.

Well, they are in a small room so there is not much to move around.

But I do have huge problem with the movie.

- The way Anakin was threaten by Palpatine, couldn't he just kill him or just thought about before Padawans kill him? I mean, he is a huge asshole for not realizing the situation he was in.
- Seeing how Yoda fought against Palpatine, it make logical sense since Yoda doesn't have much stregth left in him since he is really really old in my opinion... but what make no sense is that how can Yoda manage to push back some of Palpatine force when he doesn't seem to have much strength in him.
- Seeing how Anakin was burn alive... Really... Getting to close to a lava doesn't seem right and it felt better if he was electroded or something and was crippled by it. I mean... he have no arm and no leg after fighting Obi-Wan... He might as well slide into the lava with that robot arm of his. It would make sense if he was crippled by electricity...
- Okay, when I saw Palpatine "captured" in a chair and told Anakin to kill that other guy, it would make me VERY suspicious of why would he want him dead seeing that guy was looking like Palpatine betray him...

Yeah... I guess I show much disinterest in it or something... Why do people say something they fantasized so much about... and yet say they are the "best"???

By the way, Anakin and Obi-Wan fight seem somewhat good, but it got too many light swinging that hurt my eyes too much. It would be nice to see it little more edit then the one they show. I mean... Jumping from the tower over to the platform... Obi-Wan's part was good but I would want to see Anakin's part change that he almost fall into the lava fall but got on the platform just in the nick of time too.

Meh... I just think we really got some Jedis that need to think harder too.

Those 3 Jedi did die too fast. I mean, even Fisto was with them. The first one to die of them had the most pathetic death. Palpatine jumps up with his lightsaber, holds it up, stalls for a second, then stabs the guy. Being a Jedi, you'd think he'd try and MOVE OUT OF THE WAY, or deflect it to the side. Unless he was force stuck.

Yes, but wouldn't the Jedi be suspicious? I mean, you go in to rescue someone, and you expect them to be under heavy guard in a cramped cell, not in a comfy chair.

Clock: The reason for how he was moving was... well, you remember the outcome of his duel with Obi-Wan, right? The mild toastiness and partial delimbing? Yeah, they had to rebuild quite a bit of his body because of that (I'm guessing), and either his mind wasn't used to having control over those limbs anymore (and therefore had some trouble moving them), or the joints were made just a bit too stiff.

There was one thing that irritated me about Darth Vader; When he got off his little lab table, and busted out after hearing that Padme died, he looked incredibly silly. LIke an old Frankenstein movie, that's how he moved. and his whole "NOOOOOOOOO!" thing was really.... lame.
I loved this movie; IMO, it rivaled 4-6.

11 days produced fine clones, if they did it the right way.

You see, Thrawn was clever, he realised that it was the force that drove the clones insane if they grew too fast. So, he blocked the force with ysalamiri.

*BUZZER SOUND*

Wrong....IF you read the books the clones are down to near 1.1 million left that is why they try to save as many as you can...The best time for Clone Production is ten years...But during the katana fleet crisis thrawn is pumping them out in 11 days...Thats fine for cannon fodder but not for special troops such as the clones were...

1. Well, remember it was all basically a plot, Palpatine wasn't really captured (I'm sure you know all that), but it just kind of makes sense to me.
2. I did question that myself, but I'm pretty sure some Jedi specifically even say in one of the movies Sith are hard to track, and hard to detect, and being a Sith "Lord" I'm sure Palpatine can hide his Aura well, or something.
3. True, even in Episode IV Obi-Wan says this about the Stormtroopers (same thing basically).
4. Even though I think it was fair, because Palpatine is extremely powerful, yes that did seem kind of "silly" that those 3 died so quickly.
5. The Jedi were surprised attacked, and overwhelmed. I'm sure they put up a fight though, but I don't think they could defeat the almost infinite army of Clones.
6. Very very true, Yoda was kicking Palpatine's ass, it seemed like he just "gave up".
7. It is weird that Qui-Gon is never mentioned in the OT, but your last part of the question doesn't really make sense.

All in all, I agree with most of what you said, but they seem like "little flaws" in my opinion.

i had a few problems with the movie myself.

1. They kept palpatine in a nice comfy chair with his hands locked down on the chair arms. No one thought that was odd that he was all comfy and not in, oh, SAY THE BRIG?!?!?!

2. Palpatine=MAJOR EVIL SITH LORD. you think people would notice his aura or something?

3. Palpatine sends a message to all the clones. in the book, they all had mental issues and could be easily swayed. you would think that the jedi could sense this and be ready for it??? i thought they all died way to easily..

4. Palpatine cuts down 3 master jedi in under 3 seconds. How did he do it? they were the best Jedi, thats why they werent on the front line much. i dont care if he is the grandmaster of space and time, you cant kill 3 masters that fast without a good fight....

5. the whole jedi temple cant stop 1 guy and about 100 clone troopers??? the temple is full of lightsaber wielding jedi, and they all die?

6. Yoda. he held out in my view. Palpatine would have been killed if Yoda would have fought him for real.

7. Qui Gon. No one mentions him in the old 3 movies. you would think Luke would get training there first from a actual master???

aside from all that, it was a awsome movie that i enjoyed. those problems just seem to bug me, but not really hinder the film.

Woot that exactly why...Im glad sombody (other than me and X know that) I was only disapointed during the fight between yoda and the sith lord because the entire time I was laughing my head off about the dum faces the Sith lord kept making...

Really then I think Greivous should have lasted until near the end, so that Obi-Wan had to fight him while fighting all the clones and droids.
