The only bugs that I have no problem with them being dead are cockroaches and waterbugs...**shudders** They're the only buggies that I get all "girly" over...otherwise, buggies are cool and they fascinate me.
**huggles** Why do they make you rip the wings off? |

aweeeeeeeeeee ;.; I hate harming things too even
if there bigs, like I'll see a spider in my room, I'll pick it with a jar and cover the top with a paper and let it free outside, I don't know I just hate hurting things but your animals do have to eat just as us humans do. |

lizards, and most other reptiles and scorpions will only eat live insects so no they do not make lizard food..(xept for iguanas because they are herbivorous..but they still would rather eat bananas)
crickets are most definatly not self aware. most crickets are about as intelligent as a laptop computer because rather than having a brain they possess a cluster of nerve ganglia in their heads. in truth you are more upset about their well being than they are because all they are aware of is something "holding" onto their wing (if someone were infact ripping it off) and they struggle because they are being held. however it is a credit to your kindness that you wish them no harm |

That's the problem the gecko is from the wild and will eat only food from the wild. I really don't like this.
Anyway the lizard ate the last cricket. And yes Elara this is the country so our cage of crickets are outside by the shed. XD |

Good for you! Standing up for the very little guy! All jokes aside, while I disagree with your problems with killing bugs, I can understand your problem with pulling the wings off of them, and I admire you for not backing down.
... don't they make lizard food? You know, like cat and dog food, but for lizards? I wouldn't know, so that's why I ask. And if you'd like a little comparison to give them, tell them to imagine being thrown into a pool of hungry sharks. But, before they go in, their mouths are sewed shut and their arms tied behind their backs so they can't scream or struggle. |

I assume you have them in a container where they can't escape right? Just keep it outside when you don't have to feed your lizards. That way you don't harm them and your sister won't hear them. |

I have lizards okay? And I have to take the wings off of crickets so I can feed them the truth is. I have been refusing to do this for the past week. Because well I can torture bugs or anything.
Mom: But you'd glue them to the seal. Uh... no. I'm not one to torture living things. I even appologize for killing flies, mosquitoes, and any sort of biting bug. But my sis says that she wants me to take the wings off of crickets so they won't chirp. *shivers* ........... No.... No I refuse to watch a cricket be tortured just because of the noise it makes.... Even though it is annoying. |
