At least you don't blatantly confuse people like some other people on this board...**Looks at Beo**.

No, I figure I'll get whatever I put in...so, much like LBCC, if I focus on this because I want that job with the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), then I'll focus on getting my degree. Besides, it's Criminal Justice. This should come easily to me.

So you caved, huh? What's the matter with you Zabuza?! Wtf were you thinking?!

Kidding.

Anywho...Like I know certain schools and certain types of schools have certain reputations and stuff...but I also think that no matter what you can influence what YOU get out of the school, not just what everyone else gathers from it, ya know? So yah...**shrugs** I'm glad you're going so you can put your talents to use. Whatever is usually gathered from those schools...**shrugs** you can still do something else with it and make something of yourself from it rather than just what everyone else does there.

((gosh...after reading that post over...I think I might have strayed from my point and made it confusing. ))

LBCC is just not the right environment for me. Too many distractions, clubs, cute boys, hot boys, muscular boys, asian boys, internet, lounging in the quad, feeding the bunnies, driving around, and ultimately, being forced to go to class. I maintained a good GPA, surprisingly, so I don't think there will be too much of a problem in migrating my accumulated credits.

Yes, LA Traffic simulator...it's good preparation, and with missions like getting from Downtown to the OC in less than two hours using only the 405-South during the tail end of rush-hour traffic, who could ask for more? (If you've done this in real-life, you'll appreciate the challenge. It's almost impossible to do anything in under two hours in rush-hour traffic on the 405.)

Thankfully, the students whom attend ITT Tech are often those that are a physical turnoff to me...I did find one cute Asian instructor though. Anyway, I get a free laptop out of it paid by financial aid, even though it is a Dell laptop, but hey...free stuff.

WhiteRose, if you haven't replaced your laptop by then, and the machine is fully mine, you can have it. I've no need for it, I have my Toughbooks. This time, though, don't lose it.

Oh! Is that what you wanted me as a reference for. Yay! We, we had talked about this not too long ago and I know how you feel. Sometimes it does get kidna hard to follow your path ot academics if you don't have the right environment. Best of luck my friend! I'm sure you'll do great!

Yay, I'm a reference! If they ever decide to call and ask about you I will be sure to say good things. Other than that, it shall be sad to not see you around LBCC anymore, or at least less than I do now, but I am glad that you are finally getting this done. ITT Tech is a decent school from what I heard, so all shall be good.

*huggles*

LA Traffic Sim? Lee, sweetie, you have problems. lol.

I liked ITT's Game Design and Art program. I actually became very interested in it, and may pursue it after I finish my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. Game Design has always been fun for me, but I design games that maybe only I would play like the TSA Simulator, the Disneyland Cast Member Simulator, and LA Traffic Simulator. Stuff like that.

Well these schools have actually interested me for the most part, since some of them (mainly Westwood from what I've seen) have a large focus on Game Design and Art, which is my current field of study.

Of course, I'll probably be going to a 2 year community college around my area first, then from there ... I'm not so sure yet.

I've seen most ads coming from ITT and Westwood though.

Thought about San Francisco...I really did...but the cost of living is just so much higher than Los Angeles that even though San Francisco is the gay mecca of the world. Hope you're able to subsidize the increase in costs in relation to your school. Yeah, ITT is great, but I'm going for the Criminal Justice program. And, I intend to excel.

Forget all these loser colleges in GA. I;m gonna go to The School of Computer Arts in San Francisco, Cali!! I plan to take all the computer classes they have to offer. But yea, ITT Tech sent me a transcript to ask me if I wanted to go there college when I got out...I turned them down. They have a very good reputation though and I have some friends who go to ITT Tech and I hear good things about it

There was some special on TV about colleges like DeVry and Westwood and Brooks College being big money scams. I don't blame you for not going to those. >.< ITTTech is cool, though. Good luck to you. ^-^

*twitches at the comment on DeVry* Have you even seen the results of all the people who went to DeVry in Georgia? They're the ones that are the accountants. I don't want to go to DeVry.

Most likely I'm going to Columbus Tech or Florida State or even the Air Force.

Yes everyone heard me the Air Force.

Why? Weather... I wanna chase hurricanes. XD

But congrats on crashing and spreading your boundaries. XD

For the longest time I've always been against schools like Westwood College, DeVry, Keller, and the like, and always resolved to never attend such institutions.

I start at ITT Tech on June 13th. So, yeah, I caved. But, I need a dedicated environment to work towards my goals. There is no other way. I tried college, and failed. Five years later, I've got nada. So, another four years with about $50K in expenses, and I should have my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. I need it.

I received a nice e-mail from the Defense Intelligence Agency telling me that while my background and skills are quite impressive, I lack the degree or education for their open positions. But, they'll keep my resume on record for six months. Well, that's always nice. At least the DIA appreciates what I have so far.

I still wouldn't hire anyone from DeVry and the like, but I grew up on ITT Tech commercials, and my dad went to ITT Tech back in the day along with NYU...so yeah.
