Don't let things get to you so badly Elara. I know it sucks when you're dumped and you wished that things were better, but things will get better...trust me. I got dumped by a girl named Mallory a while back and thought my whole entire world had collapsed into nothing. My heart sank, my life sucked...no one noticed it because I would put on a face.

The more you let something eat at you, the more its going to cause a problem. It depends on how long you hold onto it. I believe that eventually it will come to an end once you stop hanging onto the problem. Most people don't realize that's what drags you down. Holding onto the past. No matter how much it hurts, it only hurts worse if you let it go, it doesn't hurt anymore.

There will be times it'll be slapped in your face, you might see him at school and think..."That bastard, I gave him my all and he still dumped me..." and that's, that. It may come back around and smack you, trust me it did with my biological father several times...but know that things won't go back to that time and that people are all around you that worry and love you.

That's my advice for the day...XD

That was the first time I had been there (Rocky Horror Picture Show for those that don't know) since I took him there. That was why I was hunched down next to the wall for awhile in line... there was a small attack. Glad you had fun though.

Again, haning out with the crazy ones, I was able to eat again. Yay my ability to stomach food is returning! The attacks still show up regularly though, one hit at Rogue's house, though not so bad.

Next comes a hard test, seeing how I manage school now. First time since break-up that I have class... last time I was there is when I got the "we need to talk" message that triggered the 8 hour panic attack, so we shall see how it goes.

Thanks, perhaps the spell would help.

I was able to eat a turkey sandwich last night, although the main reason seemed to be that I was haning out with the craziest of my friends (venomouslobster, Zabuza, and Rogue), and they were making me laugh enough that it took my mind off things so tummy didn't get all queezy. Yay, something besides chocolate!

And Xeo, yeah I am pretty sure that is what this all is. I've tried playing games... but it doesn't help much, my mind still wanders and all games remind me of him now.

When something seriously emotional (in a bad way), happens to me, I stop eating. I don't necessarily feel sick, but I dont ever want to do anything, I don't eat, I sleep a lot.. Hell, it may as well be depression. But when my dad died, and when my grandfather died, I just lost my appetite for weeks. I would still eat, out of habit, but I must have lost 10 pounds or so. It'll last as long as you dwell on it.

I could perhaps do a spell to make you feel better? If you need anything like that, just IM me on AIM.

Well, is this a depression?

According to my mom, serious depression can actually make you somewhat ill, and can give you stomach aches and things like that. I can vouce for that too ...

But yeah, sounds like you're doing better now right?

Just try to get your mind off things. Watch some anime, play some videogames, get "interactive" with something.

Heck, play Starcraft, that'll take hours and hours away.

Meh, sorry if that doesn't help at all.

Well, I know it isn't high blood pressure, my BP never even hits normal 120/80. Highest it's ever been is 120/70 (I'm odd like that, pulse always slower than average... my mom had to have a C-section when I was born because my heart rate was dropping). Hence why this sudden increase in heart rate along with the feeling of constriction is worrying me. Perhaps I should see a doctor about it.

For those of you that have felt this, how long did it last/has it lasted? I know with my ex it was 2 weeks for the major symptoms and a year and a half overall.

for me, it lasted 3 weeks.

I see. It seems to be the stomach causing most of the others... not sure on the heart.

On the plus side, according to the scale I have lost 5 pounds since yesterday. Maybe this isn't such a bad thing after all.

I would say so, but I had to get over what I had to do and move on. I know that one day the things would work out and maybe things would be different. I tip my hat to the way your handling this.

all emotions are essentialy chemicals that are released in your body, and those chemicals can affect all sorts of things, a tremendous shock like you have recieved can most definately make you loose sleep and loosing sleep leads to stomach upset, and stomach upset leads to anger and anger leads to the dark side...wait...no

i think what i am trying to say is that everything you are affects everything you are
if your emotions are negative, which is to say your thoughts are negative, often your body will follow suit.

Psychologically speaking, people deal with heart break in different ways. You may have high-blood preassure which can give your heart a hard time. Yes, things like this happen all the time to people.

And yes, I've been through it. It was after me and my girlfriend broke up, and unfortunately, I did the breaking up. I realized everything I gave up...after that I had trouble sleeping, eating, paying attention (event though I am ADD, it was just worse). My mom got worried, but when I asked her back out and she said yes I went back to normal.

Its just the way we all deal with it. Give it a week to a month, try to sleep and eat and not worry about it, okay? If you talk about it to several different people it might also help.

I hope things get better love.

Nope, never over these emotions. (Any break-up I had was my doing, anyway).

But emotions do affect my physical self. Especially unrealeashed anger.

I can't sleep, I can barely hold down food, I keep shaking... I've nearly passed out three times today. And there is the periodic feeling of a iron clad fist squeezing my heart, followed by hyperventalation and a high wave of nausea.

The heart thing worries me, from what I've heard from a person that got sick after being dumped, the rest is normal... but the heart thing... yeah.

everything you have just said I have felt the exact same way not to long ago it's a terrible feeling I know it is, you'll be ok I think you just need some time to yourself then get out for a bit to see if you ready to face the world.

I got really sad and I just cried every time I thought about it.

I wish I could make you feel better, I can't all I can do is listen I just hope you feel better soon.

I don't really know if you could call it worry. It's more of a "I've just been horribly betrayed by the man I thought I was going to marry, nothing is what it was yesterday, why is the world spinning?" sort of thing.

Other than being phyiscally ill I'm fine... for the most part anyway.

Elara. You shouldn't worry yourself over one guy. Yeah... it hurts to be dumped. But I have never been physically ill or distraught by it. I shed my tears and I go on. You have to move..... *pushes* Move... But you can't worry about this. Worrying makes it worse.
