He wears a (leather I believe) suit with a vibrant yellow '1' on the back. (Get it 1~Ichi.....)
I don't believe they ever discuss what it's made out of, but it's certaintly not metal. |

The trailer was certainly very interesting. Talk about gory. I must say, that was the goriest thing I ever saw in my life. And I thought rotten.com was bad. But, i'm curious. Was that a suit of armor Ichi was wearing? Cause I really couldn't tell what it was. |

Actually....I meant to quote him and I accidently deleted his post.
I PM'ed him and told him as soon as I did it. What a full mod I am. I made my step dad watch it on the Sundance channel when it was on. His responses were quite entertaining, to say the least. |

Heh, I know the feeling, Avatar. There've been things that I've posted to that I hadn't before and I could swear I'd written in it too.
The local convention that likes to use the poster of "Ichi the Killer" as a promo is coming up this Labor Day. |

Originally posted by Katana Yeah, I have, and for now, technically own it. I like it better than "The Grudge" because it doesn't give away all of the details right off. It's just better. It's slightly on the same level as when Miramax messed with Shaolin Soccer and not only messed with the Chinese writing that appears, but removed scenes and such. |

**blinks** I didn't see the trailer cuz it says I gotta D/L something for it and I dun feel like it.
**blinks** Have you actually seen Ju-On Rogue? (I know off topic, shame on me) I saw it in the video store and wanted to rent it, but the Grudge had scared me shitless, so my sister wouldn't let me get it. (and yes, that movie did scare me. It seems the movies that most find scary don't scare me...but the ones that people aren't scared of...Scare me..) |

That was one of the many Asian/Pacific films that I had been meaning to collect. I started gathering together films that haven't been released in the US (yet, for some) and that was on the list next to Ju-On, Azumi, BR, etc.
I haven't seen it yet, but I might pick it up at the Pacific Media Expo in September. |

The trailer isn't for kids! :giggle: .....I warned you. ¬_¬
Speechless: http://www.ichithekiller.com/trailer/trailer_high.html Basically when I saw the trailer for the movie I was, well, speechless. I rented it immediately. (Which is true....and sad. ) Unfortunately I saw the original version and not the director's cut version. The uncut version is the one in the trailer. The original cut out or edited alot of the gory parts, but it still was pretty good. The story is a bit confusing, but i'll try to summarize it the best I can. Ichi is a killer that is given orders to kill 'bad men.' Before he kills them, he goes through a crying fit. And immediately following he kills the targeted person. Kakihara is a ruthless masochistic Yakuza that kills without mercy. He desperately begins hunting down Itchi because he wants to see what kind of pain he can inflict on him. I'm terrible at summaries. |
