I guess it doesn't really matter now since nobody has posted in a month, but I think the AF thing sounds neat. However, I'm leaning greatly toward the idea that the series will never be. The trailer/commercial, athough nicely done, was made by a fan. It's not the graphics that give it away, but strangely, it's the music.
If you've watched many animes more than once you come to know a bit of the music that is played in each. The bg music used in that trailer, is from a "Dirty Pair: Flash" trailer. There's one thing to note about anime: in the trailers and opening/endings no two series or movies have the same music. While the DBAF idea may be real, the trailer for it is not. |

I've been watching DBZ since 9th grade. About 6-7 years or so. for 4-5 years I've been hearing about AF. I've also heard about X, SR and several others leading up to a Super Sayain 8 or higher.
Now I don't know if AF is a hoax. Personally I hope it isn't cause I think if done well it could be kinda cool. I also think though that some other people are right. There's only so long you can milk a series. I love DB, DBZ, and DBGT. owever each and every season is exactly the same more or less between all the different sagas. Goku meets and enemy. Enemy defeats goku. Goku trains then comes back and defeats enemy against all odds. There are some slight variations and differences of course but that's pretty much the gist of it. I still love the series. I don't know if AF is real or a hoax but it has ben around for at least 10 years and I for one won't be holding my breath. Either it's a hoax (which I kinda doubt) or it wasn't but whoever was working on it scraped the idea as unsellable or something. |

I use to read up on Dragonball AF, and I own a tape that take place in the future. Pan's Grandson, Goku Jr. is the main character of it. It was pretty awesome, but my brother let a friend borrow it and I never got it back. :-\ I don't know if that tape was AF, but I doubt it. I've also seen the pictures of the grey haired Super Saiyan 5's. Pretty cool looking. I'm not completely sure if it was a hoax, but from what I read here, it isn't/wasn't. |

Download the Commercial, and watch it. No fanboy could peice that together. All if it is digitally enchanced, with up-to-date graphics.

It's a teaser trailer. Resident Evil used the same style when they first began to give trailers for RE Apocolypse.
Currently, I'm in the middle of downloading the acctual Opening sequence for AF (The idiot just needs to get on so I CAN get it... p2p program.) The half that I have done is evidence enough that what I have is real. |

Anyway... I have a server signed up and ready, I just need to head over to my friend's house to Drizzt's house for his cable. My dial-up can't handle an 11mb upload. give me 6 hours, tops, since his mother works nightshift, and we have to work around a schedule for it. FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE it has been on th internet for who knows how many years.... and it's been talked about over and over and over and over and it's fake. the guy who drew the picture said it was fake. fake as in not real, as in, some fanboys made it up to stir things up for the creator, or whoever has the rights to it, to make up another series. SO ONCE AGAIN, FAKE................................ DBZ has been around for what, almost 20 years now... someone's bound to get really good at drawing the characters -.-' within these almost 20 years. so yeah, FAKE! |

Ya untill i see like a real trailer on tv or somthing atleast on tv or the internet then its fake. Its just a bunch of Nerd DBZ fans who came up with the whole thing and spread it and so on...ect into one big thing like "OMG DUDZ DB AF IS COMING OUT OMG!" -Nerd Its pathetic...after DBZ they should have stopped it, instead they decided to be idiots and keep going...make money and think of themselves as great heros... -.- even i could have come up with a better story line for DB Gt |

Being a fan of DBZ and hearing all this DBZ AF ect it really pisses me off. First off people have talked about it forever and yet nothing, yes they still might be working on it but over all i dont think it will ever come out. I've seen the pictures and Goku looks stupid as hell! hes so freakin ugly looking and silver hair? thats just stupid. DBZ normal was great, DB GT was ok when Super Android 17 came in. But besides that Gt was the worest. I mean they are bleeding it, or milking it for all its worth, also the so called real movie. They made a real movie of DBZ in japan and it was stupid, very stupid like -100 stars out of 5. I mean instead of Dragon Balls, they were Dragon Pearls...OMG! |

And I'm sure you know Van, but even before the Kid Buu saga, the death of Frieza was supposed to be the real ending. If that would have happened, I'd probably have an entirely different opinion on DBZ altogether, because honestly I think the series was pretty good up until then, afterwards with the Android Saga, Cell Games, etc, it just got old and repetitive. It was cool, because Goku became the Legendary Super Sayijin, killed Frieza (kind of) escaped Namek, and all was well. Then, Frieza is back! Somoene from the Future is here with a pointless Sword! Everyone is going Super Sayijin now! Andriods are back! Fuse everybody! Kids get stronger! ... etc. 
PS: I recently saw the 2nd Brolly movied subbed. It was really boring. Edit; And DarkSlaya's right, this is probably just anime's Duke Nukem Forever. I read on a few sites rumors about this have been going around since 1998. |
