[OOC: They looked pretty clear to me, and for an update, I'll edit this when I find the time. Work has put me out of commission for a little longer. I'll try to write this up when I get a day off or two. [OOC] |

ooc: Ah, now I see. Hopefully your posts might be a bit more clear.
ic: As the man went deeper into the forest, Jaques appeared. They both were on opposite sides of a clearing. "I challenge you to a duel to the death. None can enter my forest and live unchallenged." |

If you took a better glance, I actually did write out what I did to your character's action. Please try to read closer before making these replies. Thanks. And no, I ain't no damn Shin-Ra. Why? |

Night-time broke throughout the sky in the nearby city where almost all traffic had now faded and the street lights remained buzzing due to broken bulbs of light. In the corner of a rather dimly lit street just on the outskirts of the city, the suburbial entry, a male figure dressed in a dark business outfit carrying a pair of shades and smoking a crooked cigarette, crossed the empty street nonchalantly.
Though his surroundings were composed of houses darkened by the night, dogs barking at the stranger, and the serene sound of grasshoppers chirping in the early night, he observed that his footsteps were creating a different echoing sound than what they were. He felt a form of disturbance in his perimeter, yet, he couldn't exactly explain how he knew that, he disregarded it for ESP and walked along. He didn't carry a briefcase or an umbrella, only his hands placed inside his pants pockets. This tall figure walked along the silence the night brought along with it, as his slightly gruff and shoulder length hair followed along the trail of the windy breeze of the cool and gentle night. A gentle night indeed it was, until he had heard a sort of loud clanging noise in the farther reaches of the suburbs. Where upon exitting that place, he took a shortcut along an opening, which he had no idea as to where it lead, and simply wandered where his mind took him. His face carried only the expression of disappointment, and from his looks, his untidied and opened business outfit, anyone could realize he was probably out gambling. And so it was true he was gambling, for he then brought out a joker card from his left pocket, flicking and twirling the card about his fingertips of his rough left hand, almost like second nature. Inhaling the cigarette and exhaling the smoke through his nostrils, they created clouds of smoke in front of him, before he walked through and spread the smoke into thin air. His body frame, was rather semi-defined, only to prove that some portions of muscles were obviously apparant under his work outfit. He also started speaking to himself as, the clanging sounds began to grow louder and louder. He, for all purposes, carried a weapon with him, though no one actually knew why, many didn't know where since he kept it hidden. Hidden from sight, actually. "I need to stop placing such large bets. If this keeps up, I'm going to lose my house. And then work, damn, I forgot work tomorrow. I'll make sure to get some sleep during the weekend. It just hasn't been such a great night." *clang* "Perhaps, I'll go to sleep now. Yeah, I'll head on home and tomorrow after work, I can try again. I'll win that money back. Noone is going to cheat me out of my winning stash!" *CLANG!* "And what the HELL is that damn noise?! Argh, it's getting annoying! Someone better have a good reason for agitating me like this! I wonder where it's coming from?" Agitated and rather angered by his loss at gambling at the casino in the downtown area of the city, the man turned from his original path and wandered further into the now enclosed woods location where after many passages, and the sounds growing rather loud and horribly audible, the man came across a large opening, where a prairie lay. It was here that he observed the scene and without being detected, or so he had thought, he evaluated what he saw in his head before making any unnecessary judgments. And just as he had begun to find it peculiar that the clanging noise simply faded away without a trace of what could have created it, it was helpful for one reason. For his life was endangered and had it not been for this noise, he could very well have been killed. Perhaps not, but it was too late to find out now. In the glimpse of all of this, he then turned his direction to the left to find that deep within the forest area ahead, he swore he could have seen the outline of another being. Human of course, at least that was what he had thought, he curiously walked along back inside the woods in search of this other human. They may very well have been the ones making that terrible racket. |

ooc: I'll fight you, if no one else is interested.
ic: Jaques walked through a dark forest, his green, adamantium armour shining brightly. His dark dragon skin was in strong contrast to his armour, and almost looked barbaric. Jaques quickly put on his helmet, as he smelled somone else walking through. He waited until he was just behind this person, and then threw a small dart toward this persons back. This dart would be extremely quite, and almost impossible to notice in the dark forest. If it hit, the actual dark would do little damage, but the poisen inside was strong, and would kill even a dargon in a few minutes. "Never come into my forest." |
