I recently re-equipped my hammerdin, paladin using blessed hammer and such. He has max resists in hell deifficulty almost 2000 life 800 mana and does 11k - 11k damage per hammer. He is awsome for PvM and for some PvP. I've never heard of a melee ancer before either.. might have to try that one. Do you got a build guide for it? like what skills, gear, and stats to get?? |

Now that I think of it, shouldn't this probably be in online gaming?
I mean, yeah, you CAN play offline, but most people anymore that'd be doing that are playing mods or just testing builds for online play.  |

ive always enjoysed using the assassin never really sure why just thought it was fun. Though in the D2 world it just didnt seem to work as if you were playing a game with an asssassin as a main character, and not just sort of a secondary cahracter. |

Im personally a fan of a Melee Mancer (melee fighting necro) using curses to keep you alive, and having a 6 slot Scythe is always fun ^^;
Of course, this build that I use uses absolutely no bone spells, or summons. the most you get is a Blood Golem and Poison Nova, for the Cow Level. Other then that, its just you, your weapon, and your curses against the enemy XD. I was always at the top of everyone's list when it came to a party, with all my status effects. Lol. Why kill your enemies when you life Life Tap cast on a barbarian, and Amplify Damage on the enemy? |

Paladin.
Specifically, my old Zealot/Ranger hybrid. Not a PVP build by any stretch, but great for quests. Holy Freeze is FUUUUN. Especially since, IIRC, it slows enemies resistant to cold, too!  |

Whats is yalls favorite Diablo 2: LoD char??? It can be anyone, but I want to know your favorite. I know not many people play this game. But if you do, or have played it in the past please be sure to pick your answer and tell us all why.
Me personally I like the Assassins, you can make them a could melee charatcer with the right gear. And also you can make a trapper, that pretty much owns all the chars, unless they absorb litghtning damage or have a high resistence to it. So I think they are really awsome. They kinda are slow starting off, but at higher levels they pwn stuff. |
