I don't know what to say except dodge them. That is what I did and make sure to attack him when he is beside Jade and dodge him when he is above Jade. |
Yakitori Posts: 36/59 |
Okay, thanks, but what about the attacks from above? |
Byte Posts: 172/639 |
Your controls get reverse, too. Just try to keep killing the Sarcophagi to get used to it. |
Yakitori Posts: 35/59 |
Everything gets all blurry, and I can't, or just don't don't know how, to dodge the attacks from above. |

Originally posted by StickMan Well, this thread kind of died, but I have an answer. Get the hover leg part that looks like the Tragos's legs, and Over Boost straight to him at the beginning of the match. This will probably avoid his missiles, and use your Saber when you get in close. Afterwards, use high DPS weapons like grenades or an MG with extra ammo on your back. It worked for me, hope it works for you. And if anyone could, I need some help with the last boss in Beyond Good and Evil. I just... cant do it. |

I need a winning strategy for fighting Ace in Armored Core 3. If you can, post a specific design that will work better. I've tried a million times, but I still can't beat him. |

For example, there is a race in "Race events" in the blacklist menu. It is a sprint type race, and the track is "Seagate & Camden". Go back to the main menu, and select quick race. Select custom race, and do a sprint on "Seagate & Camden". Set the options you want (i.e. No traffic, etc). Do the race. Go back into career mode and do that same race in the blacklist menu. Those options you selected in quick race mode will apply here. You can have no traffic, and turn off catch-up. It also means if you have a 4-lap circuit race in career mode, you can do this cheat and only have to do 1 lap. Contributed By: Fabulaz Skip police chase after a maximum possibility police encounter race When you race any race that has maximum potential for police encounter, a police chase will ensue sometime during the race. After the race you will need to get away from them so that the win and money won will stay. To completely skip this sometimes tedious process after a race, wait until you see the "auto-save" icon at the top of the screen disappear. Once it has disappeared (completed auto-save), hit reset and reload your profile. The race will show complete along with the money credits in your bank account. The Killer7 goes to 35, yeah. The Broken Butterfly goes up to 28, but, unlike the Killer7, you can max it out by getting the "exclusive" upgrade which brings it up to a whopping 50. I got it for mine, and nobody stands up to it. |

The semi-auto rifle, can be very handy because of it's semi-auto...ness. You can pick off Zealots much better, which is a good thing, because some of those buggers you WILL have to snipe out in order to save your ass. (Spoiler: Catapults)
It's just a good rifle to have in general. Especially when fighting one certain enemy on the 'island'. =/ EDIT: Damn you Xeo, you got your post in first. Oh, forget the Killer7. Has great starting power, yes, but the fully upgraded Killer7 is weaker compared to a fully upgraded Broken Butterfly. Unless you aren't going to bother upgrading it, then go ahead with the Killer7. |

The Automatic-Rifle in my opinion is an absolute must have. Have you started the castle part yet? It's extremely useful especially at the beginning (you'll be outside among the castle walls, enemies will be very far away, etc). And it's very good to have for bosses since it has very high damage (I think it starts off around 9?).
But yeah, get it as soon as you can. You'll pretty much want to keep the Riot Gun and Rifle throughout the entire game. And yeah, just wait for the Broken Butterfly, or better yet, the Killer7 (damage starts off at 25, yes, 25). |

Question...
Should I have the semi-automatic rifle handy for the castle part? I haven't gotten a chance to play yet but I want to go into the castle well prepared. However, I don't want to be buying any crap I don't need. I've decided to go with the Red9 over the Blacktail for now. I've traded in my old shotgun for the riot gun. I've refrained from buying the Broken Butterfly since I will be able to get it for free later on. |

To save my ammo, I usually just shoot zombies in the legs all the time. Then knife them to their doom. If they try to get up, I just slash their legs and back down they go.
Of course, this doesn't work to well when you're up against a small army, but it's great for one on one or one on three. One bullet, from even the TMP is all that's needed. I chose the Blacktail over the Red9, but have the Red9 on a seperate file. That gun is just cool. Same with the Broken Butterfly. |
