Murimasa smiled. "And what, pray tell, is your errand? I will tell you whether or not we must fight, stranger." His red eyes flared out from his face, and showed his aquantence the true nature of his physical being.

And so there stood another figure, ready to answer to what Murimasa asked, through speech and through mind. The pale shine of the goddess that was the moon was gentle and soft, carressing the sand like a child carresses her doll. The sand was deep and merciless, beating against anything and everything that stood in its way.

The figure that stood synonmously with the shadows was silent, like that of darkness, calm and omnipresent. His magnificent black cloak placed over his body and its black hood covering his head, he waited. He was one never to be late but one never to be early as well. He chuckled under his breath as he slowly held out his slender right hand, pulling the hood back, revealing his head, his long spikey black hair and his light skin, shining under the moonlight.

The glow of the moon gave his dark brown eyes an eerie glow, like that of a cat's. He was a reasonably tall man with sharp features. What was his attire was completely shadowed by his black cloak, revealing nothing of his armor or clothing. In fact, the only equipment that could be seen, especially under the bright moonlight was the massive instrument of death he strapped to his back, nearly as long as he was tall.

Six feet in length, bearing a truly frightening blade that seemed impossible for any mortal man to wield, it was indeed a formidable weapon. It's dark silver blade shone brightly in the glow of the sky while the large hilt and thick handle seemed to repel the very nature of the glow.

His dark yet glowing brown eyes stared at Murimasa with a calm expression. He had been wondering how long it'd take for this being to sense his presence. Obviously too long.

"No."

He paused, as if trying to find the right words to say. Instead, he simply held out his slender right hand once more and gripped the handle of his sword, slowly removing it from its constraints and loosely and casually holding at his side.

"I have not come to do battle. I am simply here on an errand. But if necessary, you will become a part of that errand as well."

The moon lit the desert collossus as brightly as if it were mid-day, only with an etherial bluish shine from the wholeness of the Lunar body. Murimasa stepped towards the ruins as the sands whipped up around him. He could sense another's presence; Where was his enemy? When would he show himself? The answers escaped Murimasa, as he continued on through the sands. A long shadow was cast over dunes not long afterward, and Murimasa turned it their direction. "So. You've come to do battle, I take it?"
