...wow...that's the true sign of my inactivity. Wow, I didn't even notice the date, I just thought it was a new thread...I feel depressed. |

Or you could have just said, "Don't bump threads."
Yeah, please don't. It's just annoying to most people. |

Holy Cock Blast Batman!!! It's the center of the bad pun ecosystem! If only I had been able to prevent this thread from existing, I wouldn't have to deal with the bantering of fools and the sort, screaming how to fawke this and fawke that. It was the man's name!!! Leave him the Fawke alone...... |

How can you Fawke a night? Maybe you can Fawke IN the night, but I doubt that the twilight would allow that to happen to itself
From now on, January 25th is Clockworkz Night. Let the Jack and Coke flow. If that mother Fawker can have his own holiday, then so can I. |

LoL.... yes, I knew you had a holiday similar to our fourth of July, but I couldn't think of the date. I could have sworn it was during the summer though.
I think that the holiday sounds fun, I love bonfires. Though I too am curious about who Guy Fawkes is...? |

I forgot that you're from the UK, Gan. I'd never heard of this holiday and figured it was some "Small Town, USA" event that doesn't even matter. So explain who Guy Fawkes is and what he did. |

"Some of the English have been known to wonder, in a tongue in cheek kind of way, whether they are celebrating Fawkes' execution or honoring his attempt to do away with the government."
So which is it? |

Whee, tonight is November fifth, Guy Fawkes night! By a four hundred year old British tradition, all across the country people will be lighting bonfires, placing wooden "Guys" on them, and lighting fireworks. Our town is have a communal bonfire, and I'm looking forward to going. |
