Which is why I dont join, nor protest against Animal Rights....because its pointless...
People will go to extreme measures just to get their point across, if it means putting a dead whale on the front steps of some sort of orginization to stop making...I dunno, whale purses...then so be it...However notice the article saying NOTHING about what it did to help stop what they were doing, Thus proving my point....joining or fighting against an animal activist group does absolutely nothing...but we as humans must speak up for what we believe in... I mean take this for another example...People have been fighting to get rid of cigaretts from this country...Wonder why all those years people have been fighting to get them off the market and yet it hasnt been gotten rid of yrt? Because the goverment stepped in...They are getting a major profit due to Taxes, if that was cut off...we may not have been having the necessities of this world as we know of today...And thats what makes the world go round... Now also understand that if you have enough people protesting, then things COULD happen in terms of the people, but remember that not ALL things can be put to a closing halt in terms of the people and the goverment... |

If Greenpeace is one of those animal rights protesters, I will fight against them.
Such hypocritical bastards. If they're worried about animal rights, then why are they dishonoring the whale by leaving it in the middle of a CITY?! Stupidity these days runs rampant far too much. |

Well, looks like Greenpeace is trying to out-protest PETA. I wonder how far they'll go. |

I LOL'd...and threw up a little in my mouth...
First of all: How in the hell did they hoist that thing without having somebody noticing it and stopping them? Well its Japan after all, im sure they wouldent care...its an everydaything to them so I guess I understand... Second: How did they get their hands on a Dead* whale....? Ebay? Third: Thats not a whale...its a Tofu-eating gigantic shark to me... And Finally: I dont like their approach, im sure they could have done something else busides that...But im sure they left their mark... Edit: * Spelling mistake....its not a "Deal Whale..." |

A TWENTY-TON whale is hoisted ashore by dock workers after dying on a beach.
The 55ft finback was found by a fisherman in Wismar, Germany. Greenpeace campaigners dumped the body on the steps of Japan’s embassy in Berlin to protest at the country’s plans to slaughter 1,000 whales for research. Activist Stefanie Werner said: “If they need a dead whale, they can have this.” You can see a picture of the whale here I used to be a member of Greenpeace back in high school, 'til their protests against genetically-engineered food became too insane. Do you agree with their approach? |
