If your really looking for early 1960's rock, look into Bob Dylan. By around '64, he had gone full on rock, since before he was mostly folk, but still, his folk stuff will work just as well for a project (if the project is on the 60's, than it would be almost shameful to leave him out of it).
A few must have albums if your thinking about rock in the sixties http://bobdylan.com/albums/bringing.html Bringing It All Back Home, 1965 http://bobdylan.com/albums/highway.html Highway 61 Revisted, 1965 You definetly should use songs on Highway 61 Revisited. Even if you don't use this for your project, I highly, highly, highly recommend getting this album. It's a perfect representation of both Bob's work and sixities-esque songs. |

Finding some CDs and I need some ideas for my video project as well. T_T Rock around the Clock is all the ideas I have. I was thinking "Dancing in the Street" as well. How fun is this? XD Anyway that's what I wondering. Someone give me some ideas 1960s songs... Mainly the rock in those days. They appeal more to me. |
