Well, No one 'should' bother you on your factor katana, I do agree that hurricanes are natural for our environment, but have you noticed the hideious hurricanes weve been having here lately?
My dad came back from flordia, showed me the videotape of parts of Hariete Flordia, It was not only flooded, but it was pretty much down for the month....and the worst part is that we havent had our full blast of hurricanes this season yet....this is only the beginning. To be honest, Our home can witstand hurricanes, 3 Story brick house, emergency power, well water, my home is hurricane proof. But I do pray that other homes are insured and that families are safe from future hurricanes. And finally, I agree with Katana, I do believe our vehicles are causing this, and hopefully in the future when we run off Hydrogen, we may no longer have such horriable hurricanes ( Or as much as ) as we used to... |

**waves** I live further up north in Pennsylvania. Never had to deal with car flying through the air due to storms, as opposed to bullets all over the place.
I think...the worst that I can remember at least...was either hurricane Dennis or Flloyd, back when I was in 4th grade? **shrugs** I dunno. Somewhere around there. But anywho....all that was, was a lot of thunder, lightening, rain, wind. A few trees in Northeast Philly were struck down and blown away here and there, but that was about it as far as the devastation is concerned. **shrugs** Storms scare the hell outta me though, and as far as the thunder and lightening storms, Xeios and Caiori could tell you, we get 'em BAD during the summer cuz of humidity and stuff like that. Do I agree that hurricanes are a result of us destroying our planet? I agree that it's a factor, a factor that may continue to grow, but still...hurricanes are natural occurences too, ya know? So no, I don't think that if our environment was "perfect" we wouldn't have them...just maybe not AS much and AS bad...Dun attack me here on this opinion, but please do inform me if I have missed something. This is simply something I've thought up based off of random facts I've picked up. |

XD ANYWAY I can't wait to curl up on my couch and watch some Jim Cantore... God he's awesome. I wanna be just like him. |

the hurricane your probably talking about is Opel that one was fun the power was out school was out and i dont think we had to make it up either.
any ways no i dont think hurricanes just all of a sudden start hitting hard you have to remember that weve only recorded the weather in america for aroun 2-3 hundred years for all we know there could have been even more powerful hurricanes in the past. |

....Is that all you got mother nature? I mean come on...
The entire day yesterday I was a lightning conductor literally. I was over at my friend's house fixing his roof in the middle of the storm....but the funny thing was, There was a heavy band heading our way, but because the storm was scared of me, Cataula diddnt get hit as bad as the other areas that were hit. I called up some aunts and uncles to whom Ill be staying with while Ill be living in Flordia next month, and they said that this Tropical storm was nothing compared to whats coming in the months of July and August... When Hurricane Ivan hit us, it came, said "AH HELL NO!" Turned around, and hit us again.... But heres my discussion...*Mind turns blank* Well, have you ever been hit by a hurricane? Do you feel that seen how our vehicles have burnt holes in the Ozone layer may have caused these super-storms? What are your views on Hurricanes? In my lifetime, the worst hurricane I have ever stood through was when I was 7 years old. I was pretty much scared to my wits end, that I stayed up the entire night hearing screams of the winds and so forth...Some areas in Georgia were flooded... |
