Neither. I'm flying out of Ontario. That 's where the rest of my team is flying out of so I just went along with it. So I'll basically be living out of a suit case the first three weeks of July. |

I've actually never flown before. Always wanted to, but never have. Be sure to tell me how it was when you get back though.
Are you flying out of LAX or Long Beach? |

I don't care too much for flying to be honest. I can take a lot, but being nautious is one thing I guess I'm a bit of a sissy about. Okay...maybe more than a bit. XD I seriously can't take being nautious though...it really kicks my ass...but that and being bored are the only things that I didn't like about flying. I like looking out the window, I like the traveling aspect of it, I like seeing the other airports and whatnot...though so far Philadelphia's airport is the largest I've been in. It's one of the largest in the country actually...not THE largest though....so those are places I'd definitely like to travel to...even if it's just to marvel at the airports. XD
As for the ear popping stuff...I usually have problems with my ears too...they never popped once while I was on a plane. I even tried making them pop...nothing. Yet when I drive through mountains, my ears pop like crazy...**shrugs** |

Well, like I said I'll be in Portland in about three weeks and you have my cell number.
As far as the whole flying thing I'm not scared, just nervouse becuase I don't know exactly what to expect. |

I meant to ask you if you wanted to get together since you're driving and all. |

It's not that bad, I had to fly out to North Carolina a few years back for my cousins graduation, it definitly wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.
It's ok to be nervice, I was to. but in the end I really enjoyed myself. |

Eww.. it would be really bad if I got sick. I have a basketball tournamentm, that's the reason I'm going. Great advice Belial, I'll really look into it. |

I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but take this stuff called Airborne before flying. so many common colds are passed on through airplanes it's ridiculous.
Other than that, I always try to sleep on the plane because I A. get bored. B. feel light headed and C. You don't have to deal with feeling your ears pop so much. I have ear problems, so the last time I was on a plane I got a massive ear infection... x.x |

Eh, there's nothing complicated or spectacular about it in my opinion. I've been all over the States, and have flown many planes.
The only thing I can say, is expect your ears to pop a lot when you're landing in Oregon (possibly). Due to all the altitude changes and stuff. I remember when I went to Florida it was like someone put pop rocks in my ears when we were landing (there airport there was amazing by the way), but when we landed back in Kansas nothing happened. I guess I'm used to KS. Anyways, sit by a window. Its not everyday you get to look out of one and literally see patterns of fields, mountains, and whatnot. A fun site to see. |

In about two weeks I'll be flying to Portland, Oregon. I've never flown on a plane before. A week after I return I fly to Chicago. Both times I'll be flying from California.
I just wanted to here about your views on flying and your past negative and postive experiences. |
