The Japanese opening was amazing. I dunno what the deal was with Cable being thrown into the mix, but that was just great. XD
I preferred the Original X-Men, by the way. It was one of my Saturday morning favorites. |

AHAHA The japanese one was just as awesome as it was hilarious. They so japanorificized it. It's so weird to compare the two... I'd still say the American Original series owned completely. |

I actually really like the Japanese opening, but you just gotta love that it makes Rogue look like she's a thrown slave to Xavier and just flys around looking pretty. |

There's just something about Evolution I don't like. And, I think it's the teeny-bopper drama they're trying to introduce. I prefer the Original only because I used to watch it all the time, and when I got into the comics, it helped make more sense of the comics.
I don't really know, I guess I just liked the more grown up feel of the old than the new. |

that movie mad jubilee....look...COOL! and whats with the japanese intros using english words? |

Original was like, awesome. I don't remember much of it, but I know it was. |

DEFINETLY the original. I remember watching both and really enjoying them but the original was SO much cooler looking! It was more... comic bookey instead of "Hey... a movie's coming out, lets crank out a cartoon for it!"
Am I a total queen if I liked Jubilee? I like fireworks... so whats not to like? Plus... it looked like everyone was a little downgraded in Evolution. Like, less jacked, much less ridiculous (yet believable!) poses; thats definetly a sign that they didn't bother with sticking to the whole Marvel style there. And Wolverine will always be badass. Always. (Did anyone else notice that Nightcrawler looked hella like Michael Jackson in the X-Men arcade game?) |

For some laughs, here's the Japanese intro:
Its too obvious. Music, voices, and everything aside ... its just too obvious. |

That intro allways looked like something I would make in flash...

original with the awesome theme song. |
Rogue Posts: 1866/11918 |
The original is much more closely tied with the comics, is done in Jim Lee's style, and will always be near and dear to my heart. So it has my vote.
However, I don't count Evolution short. Although it was done differently, I liked it A LOT. It was a more modern 2000s take on our favorite vigilante team. I love both, but the original was classic. |

Well then that poses the real question, are we talking really old X-Men, or early 90's X-Men in terms of original?
(one with the cool theme everyone remembers ) Edit: |

I liked X-Men evolution!!!
And when I think "Origional X-Men" I think back when Wolverine said "Eh" and everyone was all Happy and were Spider Man's amazing friends. |

Original, hands down.
Why? - Evolution seemed like it was focused on High School teenagers or something. All the character seemed younger and the entire show just didn't seem as "serious". - Toad, the guy who made earthquakes and stuff, and whoever else was with them, I could not stand them at all. - Magneto never did anything but just sit around and bark at people. - It took more than year to see Apocalypse when they kept hinting at his return after every episode. Overall, the original just seemed a heck of a lot more serious, and had a much better plot. |

I really do prefer the normal X-Men. Evolution is a disgrace in my eyes. |
