I'm not one of those mecha people at all. But Zone of the Enders: 2 gets me every time. "Beyond the Bounds" sounds soooo cool. That was the first that came to mind, I'll think of more. |

Well, I dunno if it's still counts as game opening, but the opening movie (well, the one you get if you wait long enough) of Tales of Symphonia. If it's one of my favorite games ever, it's for a reason. |

Almost every metal gear solid opening theme just absolutely blows me away... Gregson Williams did a fantastic job composing music for MGS: Twin Snakes, MGS2, and MGS3... Gawd, im a freaking metal Gear otaku or something.... |

What game openings give you the chills?
For me, Secret of Mana. The opening piano with the theme "Angel's Fear" and the short prologue about the Mana sword and everything, it makes my hair stand up. I don't know why. Probably because its always been one of my top favorite games. |
