superman would win, for he has the ultimate power: plotholes....glaring gaping plotholes through which brand new powers that even he hasnt heard of yet flow....(recently he devolved into pure energy or some crap and also got RISEN FROM THE DEAD) |

He's right, as long as the sun is blocked, Superman can't do shit. Unless...there is a type of kryptonite that give humans his power...maybe that would work on him...but then it would affect Neo too.... |

Oh you know I don't read all of the posts in these silly threads.
I can't really argue, I haven't seen the third Matrix since it came out. :-\ I always thought that once the sun was obstructed, Superman became a nubstick and couldn't do all his fancy flying and perverted X-ray panty watching. |

I don't remember who I voted for. Anywho. The Real World doesn't see sunlight so superman ain't so super. So Neo's limited ESP could help him in the long run. And if a horse can paralyze super man, i'm sure the chosen one can do much worse. ^^ |

i dunno.....neo might make supermans super-brains have a super-headache from super-bad dialogue... |

Originally posted by Machiavellism yeah, but it was nothing more than a bit of psychic powers. Besides, Neo could barely control it and it often left him in an extremely weakened state. After destroying his first sentinel in the real world using this ESP, he immediately fainted. Also, he could only manage to destroy the first wave of machine city defense mechanisms where as Superman would have no problems totalling the entire place. |

Wait....I haven't seen the 3rd Matrix since it came out in the movies. But doesn't Neo's powers develop in the real world too or something? |

Contradictions are indeed fun. I didn't catch that since I didn't re-read my post before posting (I should do it more often when I'm this tired).
I do know you're joking since you often are. Oh and it would be nice if during these threads the creator could narrow down which versions of the characters are fighting otherwise as Sparda said it doesn't make any sense what so ever. |

no, no. you got confused, Hobo. I was talking about two different types of kryptonite. Anti-kryptonite counters regular green kryptonite. Then there is another kryptonite, that affects humans in the same way green kryptonite affects super powered kryptonians.
It's all explained here. |

You say it affects humans but does it counteract the effects of kryptonite? |
FX Posts: 609/3775 |
Actually, Hobo, there is Anti-Kryptonite....
There is also kryptonite that instead of affecting Superman, affects humans... |

Sparda...Superman doesn't make sence. But I do agree with Thexare, he allways gets new powers to solve a problem. Originally he could stay under water for a few hours. Then years. Now indefinately. So I vote superman, just for that reason... |
Astrophel Posts: 1076/2724 |
Superman would win.
Whenever he has to solve a problem, the writers just give him a new power. Therefore, if he was about to lose, he'd suddenly gain a new power called Neo-Killing Vision or something like that. |

Superman could not be part of the Matrix and a real, normal person in the real world. Superman is an alien. Aliens are glitches in the Matrix, not human beings endowed with special powers. Therefore, in all technicality, it wouldn't make sense for the fight to take place in the Matrix since Superman would be much too powerful to be overcome by the machines in real life so that they can force him into the Matrix.
besides, if Superman could fool the world into thinking that he's Clark Kent just by putting on a pair of glasses...he automatically wins. |
FX Posts: 607/3775 |
Cairoi makes a good point. It was stated a while ago, that this fight would take place in the Matrix, so that they both would have their powers. |

Quite the quandry here, ladies and gents. Let's take a minute to carefully examine the pros and cons and make a good judgement.
Both aren't effected by bullets. Both can fly, have super strength, speed, agility... Wait a minute, gents...What if in fact Superman was in fact part of the Matrix? What if in the real world he was normal, but the universe created by the Matrix gave Superman his powers? Hmm? Anyway, I'm sure it would be a grand battle, and Superman would win, but the only reason I think this is because he's such a fucking cheap bastard he always wins. Anyways, yeah. And Vulkar, he LET agent Smith kill him by absorbing him and then they canceled each other out. And no one is entirely sure if Neo is in fact dead because in the end entities eaten by Smith's coding program were shown in the end. Tch tch tch, it is bad for you to assume these things. Anyhoo, yeah. Have fun. |
