Glee indeed. This movie looks pretty kickass.
One thing I don't really understand. What side are those soldiers on? I don't recall much fighting against human enemies in the book... But it I could be forgetting something. |

Like you FX I am a big fan of Christopher's books. By looks of it this film will not disappoint fans of the series or newcomers. |

Looks good. I haven't read the book, however I think that I will keep it that way until after I see the movie (so I won't know what's happening, and so I won't rant about changes of details... like I do with the Harry Potter movies). Effects look awesome, and I really like Jeremy Irons as an actor. |

Oh, my, god! I can't wait for this movie. I love the books. Christopher Paolini is one of my idols. I actually saw this in spanish before I saw it in english, and I practically gleed my pants. They have gotten an incredible cast: Jeremy Irons as Brom, that kid from Four Brothers as Murtaugh (sp.), that guy from the Full Monty as Durza, and John Malkovitch as Galbatorix (although I don't remember him appearing in the first book) I have a few complaints: I don't like how the egg looks, too clear, and they left out the white veins. Also the ignasia looks silly, its just a cut, not a silver mark. And Eragon's armor looks kinda silly. I also found a trailer for the game. Meh, looks like the gameplay will be just like the LOTR games, although magic might be fun. EDIT: Oh, and today (September 19) is Jeremy Iron's birthday. Happy Birthday Jeremy! |
