So...Was there even any Japanese culture in this Japanes culture night? Or was it just a facade to take down the superfriends and rid the world of sushi. |

Wow, I really butchered it! Thx for the corrections. If I could actually get a class here, I would be a little better, but you get what you pay for (books from the library).
Yeah, go ahead and correct anything of mine that you see wrong, because I REALLY need help with anything that's somewhat intermediate ; Doumo arigatou gozaimasu VG-sensei! |

Just a few corrections here:
It is Nihongo GA hanasemasu ka? not WO, because the object "nihongo" is receiving the action, not doing the action. If Japanese is being spoken (which would mean that the object is doing the action), then WO would be the correct particle (and thus the verb would change to hanashimasu). Nelrith, I think you're trying to say this: Hai, nihongo ga hanasemasu. Demo, mada jouzu ja nai desu kara, renshuu shinakereba naranai desu. Yes, I can speak Japanese. But since I'm not good (enough) yet, I still have to practice. Also, once you introduce yourself as "watashi" in a sentence, don't switch to "boku." The proper way to say "have to do something" is "shinakereba naranai." For adjectives that end in "I", you don't need the NA/NO particle. These are called True Adjectives. For adjectives that don't end in "I", you will need to have the particle NO after the adjective, and not before. Sorry to dissect so much, but just wanted to add my input, lol. Edit: It's the object, not the subject. The mistake has been fixed above. |

Hai, Nihongo wo hanashimasu. Watashi no Nihongo wo renshuu na kareba arimasu, dewa boku no Nihongo na warui desu ; |

Originally posted by Seticus Lol, obviously you have Nihongo on the mind! xD Yeah, I wish that we had more Japanese classes here, or at least a club of some sort. At least THEN I could practice speaking a little (not to mention to play Go). Aww well. I'm moving soon anyway and then I could probably start one.... P.S.: I had Sushi yesterday for lunch! Rainbow roll is my fav |

Well, I just got back from the Japanese Culture night and well, needless to say, it could use a little more work.
I wasted 20 minutes for Desroth to find where the hell I am (Because he took the damn wrong road.) and when it was already 6:20 pm, Desroth and I got in and well... A.) No FUCKING sushi! B.) EVERYONE ate it. C.) How the hell are we supposed to play one FUCKING board game (shogi) ? D.) Lucky, someone brought in a MINI-PORTABLE PS2 system and few PS2 game! ( ) E.) Desroth, some other guy, and I brought our Go Board and that went a little more successful as well. F.) WHERE THE FUCK IS OUR SUSHI!? But the environment wasn't that bad, everyone was enjoying their time (even myself) but if they had more sushi... No matter, as least playing go was fun and another girl I know from the Japanese class was there. Why is it ALWAYS that in Japanese Class, I ended up with girl as partner? But it was fun, despite that there was barely anything to go with but as least Desroth and I had fun. But where is the fuck our sushi are? |
