I enjoy watching the clay movies, like Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit and Corpse Bride. I remember hearing that story when I was little, I can see it being a good movie. |

If you remember the old story. XD Oh yeah and in Corpse Bride, I hear from a couple of friends and my sisiter that they used the Jack Skellington caly figure in a scene. |

What I hated about Treasure Planet is that they, in my eyes, raped Robert Louis Stevenson's corpse just by making the movie.
Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D huh? Interesting... so trying to make even more money off it. How sad. |

Um.. why?
Disney already has and is making a lot of money and I just think it's unfair that they make money off of classic’s they just re-make with a horrible storyline and graphics that are just too modern and digitally enhanced to match the classic touch that we grew up with. I do like ‘a few’ of the 3D films they have bought out with Pixar, like Toy Story, but other than that the rest of there 3D films have failed to capture my interest. The thing I hated about Treasure Planet was the computerised effects they put in the movie, like when the ship moves and a lot of other things to just cut corners. |

I felt this was relevant, but apparently they are rereleasing the Nightmare Before Christmas in theaters, but in 3D. Just saw the commercial on TV. Interesting... |

Originally posted by Déesse Nope, not a sequal at all. Just another Tim Burton clay animation film. Once you see it, it will be quite obvious that it is not related to Nightmare in any way, shape, or form other than the medium and the creator. |

I thought Corpse Bride was a Disney made film, I thought it was a sequel or something to Nightmare Before Christmas (which I still haven't seen yet )
I was talking to my friend yesterday and we got talking about the Disney sequels and all, she has a friend who works for Disney studios in Sydney, Cinderella 3 is a definite, it's apparently due out next year sometime. |

Last I checked, Corpse Bride was not put out by Disney but by Warner Bros. |

They didn't in Corpse Bride...which was practically a remake of Nightmare... |

.............. SK..... no... I don't want another Nightmare Before Christmas. Why? Because I know that they might short cut it and use computer animation. |

If they could do it well... but I don't think they could.... and then a sequal for a remake? Come on!
As for the Kim Possible thing, I'm just going off of what was on the list on the site. I saw two minutes of the tv show once and wanted to puke. No movie, dear god no. << Does not watch television anymore except for news and Comedy Central |

...no Tron remake? |
True Flight Posts: 2183/5245 |
Elara there are like TWO Kim Possible movies. I saw the commercials when I watch this anime on Toon Disney. It's not Digimon, Shinzo, or that one about the robots. It's some other one. I can't seem to get to watching it on time. XD |

Last I heard, Pixar told Disney to go fuck themselves and won't work with them anymore... yet they keep announcing movies together.
Now, on to the list: If they do it right, a remake of Bedknobs and Broomsticks would be cool. Otherwise everything on that list is horribly dumb. As for things on that website... if they even THINK of touching A Midsummer Night's Dream they should be shot! Furthermore, I add these to the list of "Should not be made": Kim Possible: The Movie Tron (remake) Tron 2.0 You Don't Know Jack About the Beanstalk (... what?) The Rescuer's III Rapunzel Unbraided (this sounds like a porn to me) The Wind and the Willows (CGI/Live action and "futuristically revamped"... hell no!) Mickey In Space Gnomeo and Juliet (what the fuck? Poor Shakespeare) The Tinkerbell Movies 1-4 (yes, there are 4 planned, none released) Pokemon: Diamond And Pearl - The Movie (NO MORE!!) Pokemon: Lucario And The Mystery Of Mew (see above) Pokemon: Ranger And The Prince Of The Sea (ditto) Soul, hurting... so badly.... |

Sweat flying Jesus! They're all sequels! They're all sequels- except for that one which is a remake.
The only ones I would possibly see are the Pixar movies. I'm not entirely sure of this, but didn't Disney buy Pixar or somesuch a few months back? |

Originally posted by True Flight Thats what I want to know, the oldie handdrawn animations are the best, yes the new pixar movies are alright but I wouldn't rave about them. And apparently from that list they will be making a Fantasia 2006 And regarding the Tinker Bell movies, I heard Disney are hoping the faries will up the popularity of the Disney Princesses |

I hate how computer animation is taking over. What ever happened to the oldies like Fantasia?
They were put in the vault of doom where Walt Disney lies frozen solid. Poor Mickey, having to deal with all of this... Maybe they should make another Indiana Jones. |
