Here's Daicon 3. It's not quite like Daicon 4, but it's still really cool to watch. This one has Gundam transforming into Ideon, and then some. And the references are probably seen in the other video already. |

Wow, I knew that song sounded familiar -- I have heard a few good songs from ELO. I enjoyed watching this because I'm fascinated with older animations and the way they were done -- especially the Japanese ones. Thanks for showing this True Flight.
Edit: After some research I found out the name of this song -- it's called "Twilight." It's from their TIME album. Now I want to go find this album. |

When there swords split apart from the bunny chick's sword I thought that Advent Children copied it. XD But this video is just flipping awesome. I saw some of Daicon 3, but it's nothing like Daicon 4. Anyone who appreciates anime has GOT to watch this. This bunny chick is also on a ton of anime guide books. What was really funny was I met someone's puppet dragon who was lip syncing to the song. 
What's really funny is that the song is done by a band called Electric Light Orchestra, the song was made in 1981... The same band that did the crappy Xanadu songs if anyone was interested. |

I saw this in AWA 12 this is really old school, but I really appreciated my roots when I saw this. This was made by Gainax the creators of FLCL and Eva.
oh and this will help Episode 5 of FLCL make more sense than ever. |
