**shrugs** I would believe it if someone just randomly told me that our generation is having longer lifespans. I think it's something that just naturally happens. Part of evolution. Don't quote me on that one, it's just a random theory I have. |

Supposedly some people have told me our generation (people around my age I guess, 19 and so on) will probably live to be around 100 or so. But I've just "heard" that. |

I forgot the name for the article, but The Onion had an amusing article about this. It's merely statistics, as life expectancy can be expressed using normally distributed chart. So while most people will fit in a certain range, the sheer number of people means that there will be a few on the far left (early deaths) and the far right (really old people). |

Wow thats pretty cool. My sept-great-grandmother lived to be 102... and my cat lived to be 22...
There both dead now though so neither of them can be on that list |

76 people in the world are 110 or over ... um that's quiet a lot actually I can see that generation living longer, I mean they didn't have junk food etc, I don't really see a lot of people in our generation living to be over 100. |

Here's an article about an institution that is studying people that have lived to age 110. The article shows a picture of a woman that lived quite a bit longer than that in France. I was amazed.
