Everyone has their own ways of hosting a song of some sort...I think whoever hosts a song, so long as they host a link to where they can hear it; it would be fine.
So is this a go go? |

I used to run a thread like this back on my board, except this version is much more elaborate. I know of a few places where you can upload the songs too, if you need them. |

I have a cool music player on my site. I could work with Xeo and DarkSlaya to get an mp3 uploader and the music player. We could make it for Board Members only to keep the RIAA at bay. All I'd have to do is modify a couple of pages in the music player and it should work. If Xeo or DarkSlaya see this and think its a good idea, they should talk to me about it.  |

Well like I said, there will be an elimination chart where all the bands will be...One on one match with up to 3 bands from each member...

Well...I didn't really pay any attention to "Battle of the Game Dudes", but this does seem like an interesting idea.
I see Colossus' point...but...if it worked for the Game Dudes, then why not give this a shot? |

Ok, Xeogaming had plenty of contests like "Battle of the Game dudes" or something like that. While I was in my room listening to music, Something popped in my brain that I think would be a swell Idea.
Why not have Xeogaming have a "Battle of the Bands"? I thought of it like this: Users will first start out by posting their favorite songs by their favorite bands (I thought maybe 3 per member or something like that), users vote, listen, give their draw back on them, and compete on how the song impacts Xeogaming. I kinda thought of it like a gameshow/ American Idol sort of thing. The way users can have each other listen to songs, either Youtube, or upload the song yourself to Yousendit.com. Like on Gaia, Im trying to throw out ideas here. |
