Just because David Bowie had sex with a man...or a couple...doesn't mean he's a gateway to homosexuality! |

Well the craziest, most obnoxios people in any group of people are among its most vocal...so most groups are represented most passionatly by their bugfuck psychos |

this is what I hate about Christian groups.
What evidence can they come up with that shows that these bands make anyone gay? and this is exactly what gives the "christian right" such a bad name. Whackos like these people coming up with bullshit like this. so silly. |

Why oh why Dear Lord is Metallica on that list...
Please tell me why. And why the hell is P.O.D on the "Safe" list? Sure they are known to be in the NCA, but C'mon...they have PLENTY of songs that made Hellen Keller cry. Edit- EVANESENCE!? Is on the SAFE list? Man I feel like *Dale Holds his tounge* EERRRAAAGGGGHHHH!!! This puts me in a bad name...every damn day |

Explain to me how Metallica makes you gay. How half the names on that damn list make you gay, for that matter. Damn Cross-worshipers! |

Huh, Indigo Girls was on there twice...
And did anyone else notice how much smaller the accepted list is than the other? Like, 5 bands you're allowed to listen to. |

I'm amused that they didn't include a list of bands and singers who encourage women's lib and lesbianism. ![]() That would bring in all of the ladies who ever did Lilith Fair, and MANY gay men attend these functions. Meh, I guess since lesbianism's often more accepted in society, it's only our little boys we should worry about, right? |

Huh, Frank seems to be one of the least gay, since he sings love songs and whatnot... |

Some of those were pretty surprising, like... The Stones? WTF? |
Shuyin Posts: 1407/1858 |
Oh yay. George Michael isn't on the list.
And they put Elton John twice. I guess they're pretty adamant about him. |

I joked about Cole Porter being on the list, saying that if you're listening to Cole Porter you were probably already gay to begin with. (Cole Porter wrote the music for many successful musicals ![]() I was amazed they put Dresden Dolls on the safe list really. They perform with emo bands and I wouldn't have considered them Christian-friendly. Their Coin-Operated Boy video: |

Wow, I truly hope this is a joke.
It chuckles me to see Judas Priest, since Rob Halford is gay. So I guess that makes them a gay band sending out a gay message? But yeah, tons of great bands on that list. Then the "Safe List" is too typical, because I'm pretty sure most of those bands are dignified Christian bands. But yeah, how annoying for someone to make a list like that. |

A Christian website (what else?) posted a list of bands that they feel infiltrate family life and cause homosexuality:
They forgot Fall Out Boy. And their list of "safe bands":
Amusingly, Creed's not on the list. I'm sure this is a joke, or this person's very naive and easily taken advantage of by people who want to add bands they hate. |
