Lol... yes, but I believe the theory of it all is "what would you do with a million dollars?"
Hmm... I would... Buy a Toyota Celica, early 90's version. (yes, I'm pathetic) Pay off my bills. get into a house. AND buy a lifetime supply of pre-paid WoW cards. Anythign remaining would probably go into a bank account. *shrugs* I'm simple. |

Kinda sounds like a cheat code to life. I think I would take my friends out alot. Go skydiving. |

LA's Right. After Taxes you'd get about 750000
I'd put about 10,000 in my pocket and bank the rest, INTEREST BABY thats about it. I'd still work and stuff. |

My state actually had a 345 Million lottery. If I won that kind of money I would let my parents move out of Michigan cause this place sucks, invest in something useful, and then with what's left over I would buy cars. |

Simple, I would invest it all in bonds, get it back in several ears, and never have to retire again!
I might buy a super ultra mega PC and laptop first though. |

I'd put 50,000 into the Stock market on a well-balanced amount of stocks, and then the rest into an IRA(independent Retirement account) With one of those puppies you don't pay tax on the money in there(unless you withdraw it) AND it has a growth rate of about 15% or something like that. |

Definately the first thing I would buy would be a laptop. The best money could buy. Then my parents would most likely make me pay for my own college. I would also proably buy a car and take all of my friends out to dinner and a movie. At least do something nice for them. Then I would buy my girlfriend something nice. Then proably bank the rest. |

You guys do realize that the million in lottery winnings would be taxed, right? You'd only get about 711,000 (in Michigan, at least). Even if the take home was a million, the interest would not sustain you. Most banks give 1% to 5% interest. That means you'd get 10,000 to 250,000. You'd best be hoping for the 5% if you can find it. My bank only gives 2.95% for accounts over 100,000 (that'd be 87,025). I believe they pay interest yearly, but I'm not sure.
Anyhow, I looked into this a while back and found out that I could buy a cadillac and a lotus elise, a sweet bleeding edge computer system, a nice laptop from Falcon NorthWest, give 13,000 to my friends, 15,000 to my family, 55,000 for college, and give 10% to my church and still have almost 65,000 left over for other things. |

I'd give half to my family and use the rest to move out to my own place, near my Johnny and probably to go to school, and I'm sure I'd have some left over, so I'd live off it haha. |

If I won a million dollars? bank it, live off the interest, I'd never be "Rich" but I'd be dam comfortable, and probably only have to do little to no work in the process. |

If your state comes with a jackpot with the amount of the Million Dollars. What would you do first?
I would quit my job and use the money to make a living and to move out of the United States to Japan. |
