| I don't follow anything MTV does or raves about, but apparently Britney Spears opened for the video awards show this past weekend. From what I heard it was supposed to be her grand comeback, but she was rather lethargic and sluggish on stage and her lip-syncing was off or whatever.
I dunno. I don't care. But my LiveJournal friends page has been filled with people commenting about how bad it was. Among the comments was this video, which popped up multiple times (hell, it's only a day old and has over a million hits). This guy is apparently very serious about Britney (it's so serious in fact I question if it's real or just a grab for views and attention): EDIT: Here's a vid of the performance he's referring to people over-critizing (EDIT 3, changed out the old for one that works): EDIT 2: Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton has already put out his own spoof of this video: I found this recent parody through the original "Britney fan's'" YouTube account. In his "Recent Ratings" section he gave the Perez Hilton vid one star. They're probably going to release the video to those who pay them to see it since they know people are combing the 'net to see this without having seen the awards show when it aired. EDIT: Apparently this video's been making the rounds through CNN, Howard Stern, The View, it was on the local radio stations where I live and I'm sure it's made the news in many other places as well. Anyway, the guy in the video, Chris Cocker, was on a radio show (I'm still checking on where this station is) that just sort of blow up around him. | Chris Crocker actually has some funny stuff. I'm still not 100% certain how truthful that video is. But he's got other ones that are blatantly supposed to be funny.....I hope.

| Just got word that the radio station that broadcast that interview was from Florida.
I've seen a few of his videos. They're okay, but not really something that would have warranted media attention. Even this one was more something to be passed around for shits and giggles. Oh well, his 15 minutes started 2 days ago. He'll fade soon enough. EDIT: I put in another video of the performance. Let's see if this one gets pulled for copyrights too. | Have I ever told you about my roomate Flordia? Yeah, he was a Brittany fanatic. Brittany clothes, beadhseets, shampoo, perfume, mirrors, music, shoes, and everything else mentionable.
Now, of the power that is held inside of my body, within the universe and everything good and evil, I seriously dislike Brittany. Im not using hate because hate is such a strong word, and hating a person like her is just a waste of energy. But listening to the sorry excuse of music, watching her perform, and everything else -- The only thing I see noticeable about her career is the fact that she was one of the first cast of characters in the Mickey Mouse Club when the Disney Channel first origionated. but everything else, shes as old and as annoying as Rickey martin back in the 1999's (lol). As annoying as my roomate was, I was happy she shaved her head and claimed to be the Anti-Christ or whatever. He was one of the over obsession peeps just like the whiner in the video Rogue posted. And im sure he was crying harder than he was. Now if Hideo Kojima died, or David hayter lost his voice, or my other favorite producers or actors had something bad happen, you wont see me crying over it. Its just stupid. |
