So I was browsing digg and saw an article on The rarest and most valuable SNES games. Shortly down the list you'll see Rendering Ranger, which I've never heard of before.
Seeing that it was apparently made by the makers of the Turrican series and being a shooter, I just had to check it out. And wow! This game kicks all kinds of ass. I don't think I've seen any lag whatsoever in it so far, so it must have been a later title ... which is probably obvious when you've see the powerful graphics in it. The music is like all shooters, incredibly top notch as well. The gameplay is basically Turrican meets Gradius, no kidding. You've got some levels on foot as some space marine and some in space in an aircraft. This is definitely unique blending the two styles together and there's tons of powerups, similar to the Turrican games. Definitely check this one out folks. |
