I have been keeping up with some fan subs from different groups. GG, Ayako, Doki, and Eve-Taku.
The Blue Exorcist has taken a new twist that I would NEVER expect... *sarcasm* |

Durarara!! is a really interesting series. I never got to finish it... but I really liked it.
So I finished Chrono Crusade, never knew just how close I was to the end of the series the first time. Now on the second disk of Berserk and it isn't quite what I was expecting, but I like it. Griffith is the most bishi character I've ever seen! Holy shit! |

Berserk! Long-time favorite of mine. If you decide to read the manga, you're in for a whole 'nother experience. That thing's absurdly detailed. And yes, Griffith is so very bishounen. Oh man, once you get to the later episodes... oh man.
Anyway, I've been on Lupin III. Yummy. |

There's like a thousand Lupin movies, can't wait to watch them all.
I'm gonna be honest though dudes, I like Cobra more. He's pretty much Lupin in space with a gun arm. But yeah if you like Lupin, big chances are you'd dig Space Adventure Cobra and City Hunter. I can't recommend those two enough. |

Oh snap! JOE GILLIAN!
Awesome to hear. Lupin and Cobra... yeah I'm sure you would love City Hunter then if you want some more epic 80's action and hot chicks. Only difference with Ryo vs Cobra/Lupin (well I guess this is similar to Lupin), is that Ryo is a downright pervert. Flips skirts up, tries to see panties and check girls busts whenever he can... but then seconds later he'll turn into James Bond, kickass and save the day, then give the viewers a lesson and walk away from the girl of the episode after winning them over like a badass. |

Also I'm about halfway into Saint Seiya myself and it's getting damn good. Lots of prototype DBZ stuff here (Seiya aried alongside Dragon Ball). The music is so damn good it's crazy. It's hilarious how much death and blood this series has too, I guess that's the 80's for you and I suspect Hokuto no Ken is the same way. Can't wait to see that one whenever I have the money for the new boxsets.

Nice. I wasn't sure how you felt about 80's stuff, but Gunbuster still looks damn sexy and dat music! Isn't a mixed bag of emotions? Haha... it starts off so "WTF am I watching?" then it just gets incredible.
I honestly hated Gunbuster 2 though. Hate! |

Saint Seiya, huh? Man, that show was my entire childhood. I still remember watching it as it aired on TV, though it was in Spanish. I don't remember it being even remotely popular in the US. X) | |||

Where are you from? Heh, yeah it seems like it was the Spanish DBZ or something. Every OST track I find on youtube is loaded with Spanish comments and nothing else, haha. I think it did fairly well in Europe too. The US probably missed out on that one. Kind of sucks only 1-60 were released in the US years ago, but no signs of the rest being released... like a lot of long shows thesedays (I'm still pretty irked even Monster failed to fully release).
So I'm having to put up with HK subs, but it's not too bad. I've definitely seen worse, at least the video/audio quality is insanely top notch. I guess if any of you speak French, I hear the French subs are really good since it had a full official release there I think: http://www.bakabt.com/156533-saint-seiya-knights-of-the-zodiac-dvd-aac-x264.html |

Haha! HK subs, man. Gotta love how everything is wrong about 40 episodes in.
Anyway, I was born in Philly, but at some point in my early childhood my family moved to Chile for a little bit, so I grew up with their TV shows. Los Caballeros del Zodiaco! Man, good times. Most people from South America that I know still remember that show. Hell, I still have the trading card albums from oh so long ago. xD |

Gonna finish up the newest Black Lagoon OVA today. Not bad, though I wasn't terribly interested in Roberta... it's still good to see more Black Lagoon. |
