| I'm sure there's been another thread on this in the past, but I was just checking up on a similar thread somewhere else and it busted open my box of nostalgia. Remember the cartoons you watched as a kid that were totally awesome? Whether they suck now that you're older, or still rock socks, post your favorite classics that you woke up to in the morning.

Beast Wars!!! Loved it. Do prefer G1 though. Original Power Rangers is definitely epic. I've heard some metal mixes of that song and they're just amazing, lol. | Heh, I remember Bobby's World and Eek! the Cat, Shuyin. They were both part of the Fox Kids countdown.
I remember all of these. Damn. So nostalgic now. Anyway, most of the ones I remember and love (TMNT, X-Men, Mighty Max, Spider-Man, Sailor Moon, etc) have already been listed, so I won't bother with them too much. Some of the shows I watched: I used to be really into the PBS gameshow, "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" When the cartoon was announced, I was beyond ecstatic. Now, despite being a fan of the original cartoon series for as long as I can remember (seriously, I recall watching it religiously when I was 3), this one has a warm, squishy spot in my cold, black heart. When Sailor Moon was canceled where I live, this was what replaced it. I wasn't really into it at first, but watched it anyway and grew to like it. My favorite superhero when I was 6: And before Animaniacs, there was: Now this one I used to watch in conjunction with "Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys" (which for some reason doesn't have just the intro on YouTube, but it has episodes up). I sort of grew to like this one because I thought Nefertina was awesome. And to end on a high note, a series I truly miss and wish would make its comeback in place of the continually new series Fox and WB put out to try and top it: So yeah, fuck Viva Pinata! |

| Cartoons suck these days back in the oldies. But watching Anime cartoons like Digimon got me intrested.
OMFG If you watch anime, then you should remember this Saturday cartoon. Digimon is the shit, as it thought it counters the popular Pokemon series to kill the competition. EDIT: Shit, wrong video. It's the Japanese version. (Last edited by insectduel on 04-13-08 02:28 PM) |
