I was thinking of making an RP based on Dungeons and Dragons. We will be playing in the standard campaign setting, and we will be using several game mechanics from Dungeons and Dragons. For example:
1. Levels will be loosely used. You will have a general idea of where your power would be. While generally you will not be able to do anything your character would not normally be able to do, given the right circumstances, we can sidestep some things. 2. You can be as vivid as you want, but you cannot SAY you succeed with anything unless I give the ok. For the most part, we won't be rolling, I'll just be giving "oks" and "nos" here and there, but for some situations, we will. 3. Don't pull any overpowering bullshit. That being said, here's what you know. Dear Friends, It has been some time since we cleared the Festering Ruins of Alcoth. I'll make this brief. I need your help in defending my hometown. There is a force building in the mountains to the east, and I do not know how long we can hold out. I trust you all with my lives. Please, I have friends in Larst that will wait for your arrival, and get you on the right boat all together. Come as soon as possible. Your friend, Tharivon the Bard Your mutual friend Tharivon has called you all together to join the defense of his home town, and urges you all to head to Larst and board the next ship to his home town, Branas. You answer his call and set sail with your fellow adventurers, setting sail upon the Agricola. What you will find will be only the beginning. Note: Starting off at level 3. Spellcasters, don't worry about spells per day. Name: Race: Class: Age: Feats: Skills: (just include what you are "very skilled" at) Spells: (if applicable) Backstory: Appearance: Equipment: Use this site if you do not own the books. http://www.d20srd.org/index.htm |
