Rosemary focaccia dough, alfredo sauce, lots of cheese (mozzarella and asiago), sausage, mushrooms, meatballs, grilled chicken, basil, all cooked in a deep dish.

Not very imaginative, but it sounds good right now.

EDIT: Forgot to name it. Uh... Comfort Pie.

My sister's, and surprisingly yes. Gods, that was ages ago though.

Your pizza sounds awesome, by the way.

think I read Of Mice and Men in a matter of a day. Not that I needed to read it for anything, I just somehow powered through it. It took me about a day and a half to read Brave New World.

Everything. I'm completely fucking sick of hearing about Casey Anthony, Big Brother, America Lacks Talent (lol), the "news", and all of the other crap that filters its way into the living room. There's a reason why I don't actively watch the television.

Pancakes if they're stuffed with something, but otherwise waffles.

You mean in your mind, on film, or literally? Mind is events during 2004-2005, film is probably the same time period but it's still photos. Literally... well... roller coasters I guess.

This question is oddly difficult to answer for some reason.

Maybe those Babybel cheeses. There's something about cheese that seems to transcend time periods, and it's the perfect thing to munch on after sneaking it into Renaissance faires or eating while listening to music of the era.

I guess, cheese in general is my ideal snack. We took a cooler-load of drinks, cheese, and prosciutto to this film screening at the La Brea Tarpits last weekend and it was awesome.

I half-jokingly wanted to say "my old job" but that isn't really a good answer.

I think I am going to have to say Tae Kwon Do. I could have switched schools or done something else, but I think that I would have been better off and in far better shape if I had not dropped out of that class. And I could have learned spinning kicks.

Again, sort of a difficult question for some reason.

There are TONS of products that Trader Joe's has stopped carrying over the years and I get unfathomably bummed when I go and can't find them and you never. See. Them. Again.

I'm not sure what's gotten me the most bummed out, but it's among the three cheese cannelloni (regular item not there any more), Mexican hot chocolate Christmas cookies (seasonal item that was made once and never again), and the salted dark chocolate caramel bar (new item that sold out and they aren't sure if they'll make any more). Also the Red Dragon mustard seed and ale cheddar. It was a spotlight cheese, REALLY good. Can't find it now.

Curse you, Trader Joe's!!

What's something you've done or accomplished that others thought was great, but you didn't care about?

That is hard to answer since I am such a sucker for praise, lol. I suppose the one and only paper I wrote for my AP language arts class before I dropped it works. It was a rushed essay, totally bs-ed that I didn't give a damn about I just needed to answer the questions and get it done. I found out when they were fighting to keep me in the class that I had gotten the highest grade on the assignment, and all this praise, but I didn't care. I hated the over-analyzing of the class and the slow pace.

What sound to you intrinsically link with summer?

Hm, I can think of hundreds of smells, but sounds are a bit more difficult for me. I guess because many of the sounds I can think of are ones I hear year-round.

I suppose I'll go with techno music or high pitched female Japanese girl voices. Tells me I'm at an anime convention, and the most sensory-overloaded ones happen in the summer around here.

Cherries. When I was younger I had a dislike for them because the only time I had any was maraschino cherries in my mom's fruit salad... which I hated but had to eat. Then I found I liked them in mixed drinks and that there were other types of cherries that tasted far better. Same thing happened with grapes to a degree.

In contrast, what is something you used to love but dislike now?

Harry Potter. I read every book as they came out, starting in 7th grade, and was somehow ignorant of the fanbase until I got to college. No one else seemed to be reading them in middle or high school. I still have yet to read anything after Goblet of Fire or see any of the movies past Prisoner of Azkaban, and I doubt I'll ever pick it up again.

It was just ruined for me when suddenly everyone I knew who was into HP was raving about being a bigger fan. One of the worst was my best friend in high school who read my copy of Order of the Phoenix at my house while I was still working through it (though busy doing other things) and then finished it and wouldn't shut up about it and how she was therefore a better fan, despite having ONLY read Order of the Phoenix.

On top of that, it was becoming more and more apparent that HP was a screaming 13-year-old fangirls sort of fandom and in the end I just began to despise it.

What is the last thing you read that dramatically surprised you in some way and why?

Cold Vengence by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child

The plot involves one of my favorite characters, who is normally very calm and collected to the point that it unnerves people. Yet in this book there was a seen where he sorta lost it and went on a little raging destructive kick that was still methodical but very shocking. And it also seemed to be written specifically to piss me off... let's just say it involved some very rare Greek red figure pottery, a floor, and a boot.

Do you prefer sweet or tart cherries?
