I want to say years, because there's a few songs I've just started singing to myself out of the blue from time to time over the past decade. They're usually things like Poxy Boggards songs. "Milford Haven" has been lodged in my noggin for the last couple revolutions 'round the sun.

When's the last time I did something that you considered "out of character" for yourself?

Last time you did something out of character or last time I did something out of character?

For you, I dunno... for me... um... today. I bought sandals. Like, sorta girly ones.

GAH, yes, you are correct. That should read "the last time YOU did something out of character." I'd edit it, but then it would render the beginning of your comment nonsensical.

Hm, I've long wondered what I'd get, but I'm not sure if I could make that sort of commitment. I mean, I feel buyer's remorse over just about everything I spend money on and I rethink all of my decisions constantly. If I got anything it would need to have a deep-seated meaning that I wouldn't regret.

Seems like most of the tattooed people I know don't even care what they get. Oh, to be that nonchalant about permanent decisions.

Soooo... uh... I never answered the question.

I talk too much.

OK, on first impulse, something "Game of Thrones" related. But I don't want to jinx any of my beloved characters. The only thing I'm sure of is that I want whatever tattoo I get to be in traditional American style. So, I dunno. Arya with Needle and a direwolf, pin-up style, with a parchment wrapped around her that reads, "NOT TODAY"?

What's a major opinion you've had in your life that you are now completely in disagreement with these days? What have you made a total 180 on?

That is a hard one since I don't know if I have done a total 180 on anything... um... the idea of eating spinach and drinking tea? I hated them as kids. Same with a lot of foods, actually.

Oh... wait... I know. When I was younger I swore that I would never drink beyond a glass of wine or champagne at special occasions because of the alcoholism in my family. Then I discovered responsible social drinking and realized that kind of idea was a load of shit.

Hmn... what was the most useless gift you have ever been given?

Kind of difficult to say since I've gotten many things that had no really good use, but the givers usually meant well.

I suppose the least meaningful were cigarette smoke-smelling pieces of casino merch my gambling aunt would give as Christmas gifts. We're talking ugly sweatshirts and such with the different Indian casino logos on them. These were things she'd get for free from gambling so much in their establishments.

I don't trim their claws all that often. I've probably done it twice on Miko (who's 10) and maybe -- MAYBE -- once on Tiki. I've only used human nail clippers on them, held their paw so the nail comes out and nipped off the tip.

Of course Tiki doesn't like anyone touching her paws, so I doubt I've even done all her claws at any one time.

I figure since they don't attack the family and they need them for self-defense as indoor/outdoor pets, they can keep them as sharp as they like. Granted, it's a bitch what they've done with the living room armchairs and the old upholstery on the dining room ones.

I'm not particularly up on what new things might be coming out in the near future. I mean, I only recently got to the Bioshock series.

Were there a game I'd be dying to play that's been hinting at coming out some day, it'd be Fallout 4. But it's still only a dream at this point.

Otherwise... uh.. TellTale's Game of Thrones game?

I guess "Bye, Bye, Bye" from N'Sync?

By boat or ship. I've always wanted to travel around like a character from a pulp adventure story, particularly in a boat down the Nile or around the Mediterranean. I sort of got to do this, and I'm not obsessed with returning.

Hmm, I'm not sure. My parents didn't really have a censor at home and my earliest memories were of watching "Indiana Jones" (granted, they were PG-13 at worst) and the "Godfather" movies. I also quite frequently got my mom and dad (and sometimes my grandmother) to take me to rated-R movies. Hell, they were inadvertently allowing me to rent NC-17 things as a preteen.

So, to answer the question... yeah, I don't know.

BUT I will answer the first time I went to see a rated-R movie by myself. It was "Office Space," and I was 14. Didn't know it was rated-R and I wasn't carded on purchasing the ticket.

When it's an insect or lizard, sure.

But when it's a bird... I. Lose. My. SHIT. I will chase Tiki down and drag her back into the house and try to ensure she leaves them alone. It's funny when she does her fake bird call (but it upsets me to no end when it does sort of fool the scrub jays because they're listening for their grounded babies).

But all bets are off when it's mice or rats. I've seen Miko with a big mouse once, outside my parents' bedroom. And I've seen Tiki try to take a mouse in my window. They always seem to lose interest in them once they see me looking at them, and it pisses me off to no end because the mice then stop playing dead and run around. We've thankfully gotten the critters to go back outside.

I do sometimes. It is a case by case basis and if I have some spare change or a few dollars. If they are begging outside of a food place because they are hungry , I will usually instead offer to buy them something to eat. That way I at least know my money is actually going to feed them and not buy booze or drugs.

Have you ever accidentally mixed tea and coffee or two types of tea in your favorite mug?

Never accidentally, but I've intentionally mixed teas (though that's not usual as I tend to just use one bag at a time).

Never mixed coffee and tea together, though. I actually am not even sure how I'd accidentally mix those two.

Frozen. Hands down.

But yeah, the coffee and tea mix happens to me on accident now and then, either from being half asleep and forgetting the tea bag that was still in there from the tea I drank earlier, or by not washing the cup as well as I thought I did.

Earl Grey notes in my coffee are interesting, just for the record.

The only show I'm looking forward to this summer is "Avatar: Legend of Korra."

And, sure, maybe "Doctor Who" when it comes back in August.

I already sped through "Orange is the New Black" season 2, which released in early June.

Most of my shows are exclusively fall/spring season.

There have been a few, but the only one that I really remember as standing out the most was a video game called Darkened Skye... I think I've ranted about it before, but basically: skittles candies are the source of magic and you need to hunt them down to defeat a bad guy.

Yeah....

What has been the worst fight you have ever had with your significant other?
