| They've got me doing AC sheets at home over the weekend, but I'm still trying to make the most of the weekend.
Happy I got to hang out with wolves last Sunday. Happy we were able to sneak off and watch the entirety of "The Tempest" performed in Griffith Park and then get back to our friends' band's show just in time to watch them go on and not have to wait through anything else. Happy we went to the opening night for "Titus Andronicus" at Theatricum Botanicum last Saturday. Not so happy so many people laughed through the scene leading up to Lavinia's rape, even laughing when she was dragged off stage.  Still, happy they were able to successfully transition some of the male roles to female, so Marcus, Lucius, Mutius became Marcia, Lucia, and Mutia respectively.

| Had to cross out the Much Ado mention. The director nearly ran me over while I was standing in line outside the venue, yadda yadda yadda, I'm getting a refund from Goldstar after the play was canceled.
Happy my friend and I traded info, so now we've got Netflix and she's got HBO Now. |

| We were visiting a couple who have their own little sanctuary in the Angeles Crest National Forest. We got to sit in their backyard while most of their pack came up and allowed us to pet them or they allowed us to while they started to get drowsy and lay about in the shade. It was cool.
Really happy to be back at my old job, even if it's a much longer commute and fewer hours. I really just missed everyone and had too many issues with how the other center was run. Extremely happy it only took a little over a month and NOT the three that I was supposedly going to have to do as part of a probationary period in order to return. Happy, and very grateful, that one of my co-workers came in on her day off on Monday to bring in a cake she baked for me that morning. I'm not worthy. Happy that I got to spend the weekend before getting back hanging with friends, seeing "Cymbeline" for the first time, checking out the mummy exhibit at Bowers, and eating a bunch of meals together. Happy that I spent the last weekend, my first since getting back, just reading books and taking naps and not feeling like it was a waste. With the other center, I felt like the weekends were my only escape and that I needed to pack them so full of stuff to feel at least some happiness. Happy that when I took my clients to Ports o' Call yesterday they got to watch battleships sailing in for Fleet Week behind a fire boat shooting up water. Happy that Bran and I got to see "Raiders of the Lost Ark" with a live symphony orchestra performing the soundtrack. Happy that I've been lucky enough to have money to buy meats at Whole Foods for a friend when she happened to mention during a phone call that all she and her daughter had to eat was rice until she got paid nearly a week later. |

I am happy that the trip is less than two weeks away. Happy that my divorce is now finalized. Happy that I am in a much more emotionally and psychologically healthy relationship. Happy that is finally starting to cool down. Happy that I am off tomorrow. Happy that there is a decent coffee house that opened up near my apartment. |

| I've been trying to keep on the positive side. Thankfully, now that I'm out of that shit center, it's a bit easier these days.
Happy we were able to have a garish tea party with candelabras and lace at the Old Zoo for "The Tempest." Made some new friends. Happy that we got to spend a weekend with Elara and Kaleb when they came out. Tea and ramen and wandering around L.A. <3 Happy to discover petting horn sharks is like putting your hand in a basket of attention-hungry kittens. Happy getting to go to the colonial restaurant with Brandon's mom while she was visiting from Arizona yesterday. Happy it's fall foliage season and since most of the trees in Oak Glen were still green yesterday that means it's still in the near future. Happy I've got a couple trips coming up next month and going to see some friends and family. |

Happy that I got to go out to California and see mostly everyone... even if it felt WAY too short. Also happy that we got to hang out with Rogue and Lee all weekend. Best adventure of the whole trip! | Happy that a lot of people complimented my Halloween costume (pretty much my faire garb plus a tricorn I borrowed from Christina.) People at Whole Foods wanted a picture with me and I got a free drink at Peet's because the guy said it was the best costume he'd seen all day.
Happy I don't have to go to work 'til Tuesday. Happy I have friends at work with whom I can joke around and talk about all sorts of things. Happy we got to run around the Halloween stores and people's house mazes in the valley. Happy I got all this tea in the mail. |

| The last month or so has been a huge ball of stress and anxiety, but I've been trying to keep on the bright side.
Happy that I got to go to Pat's wedding last weekend. It was really good to see him. Bran and I took a couple pictures with him in the photobooth with Bran and me on either side of him and in the second, we're both kissing him on the cheek. He's making the best face in the picture. Their officiant gave me an impromptu lightsaber fencing lesson on the dancefloor. Happy I got to stay at my friend, Katie's, place. Extra happy we got to spend a day in San Francisco with Katie. We went to the Leigon of Honor, had a great breakfast there, watched the Coast Guard rescue a boat in the bay, went tea tasting in Chinatown, then ran around the Castro eating giant chocolate-covered macaroon penises, and chatting up people at a bar. On the day Bran and I were on our own in SF, we had lunch at Tadich Grill (the oldest restaurant in SF and easily the most expensive meal I ever paid for), walked to the Ferry Building and picked up some Blue Bottle coffee and snacks. We then took our own little tour of the mosaic steps and staircases in town, walking until we got to Grand View Park. After that we went to Fort Point, which has the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge, being under it and all. Lastly went to the tiki bar, Pagan Idol, and got one of the expensive mug drinks. Happy we got to hang around Big Sur for the first time. Got to see McWay Falls and eat a burrito while sitting on wooden chairs in the middle of a river. Happy I finally got one of those limited edition Hitchhiking Ghost mugs from the tiki bar at the Disney resort. Happy that the guy who lives in the Georgia Peach appreciated the six-pack we dropped off for him on Halloween. Happy that my friend passed her citizenship test for which I was helping her study. Happy that I'm able to take Lee out for his birthday. |

Happy that management seems to finally be listening to us on our useless coworker and moving him out of the department Happy that my coworker Nate got a promotion to Overnight Team Lead... I am sad to see him go since he was the most competent person at the kiosk besides me... but he deserves a better paying position. Happy that a job opening occurred in Kaleb's department for me to apply to... now I just cross my fingers. Happy that I managed to score a three day weekend coming up. I have time to bake now. Happy that Kaleb has proven to be such a caring and compassionate boyfriend. I'm really not used to this. |
