| I use Gimp occasionally but I have to say that it's not too user friendly, what with the crazy amounts of windows here and there, but it definitely has all of the tools you'll need if you can figure it out.
I mainly use PaintTool SAI, it's like a lite version of Photoshop with only the tools for drawing/painting and no photo editing, though I think that the anti aliasing is much better in it and the colors seem more vibrant to me. I'd say check it out, at the very least the 30 day trial. |

| Hmm, yeah I've heard Gimp is like that. Guess I'll look into that other one and Photoshop again. |
