In other words, if your body stops breathing it's possible doctors could inject you with oxygenated blood that will ensure that you won't start to sustain brain damage for a half hour.

I'd say the coolest thing about this is the possibilities with undersea stuff. I imagine space would still be a different beast though, even though I think the pressure gets insane the deeper underwater you go?
The ocean scares me more than space. |

See, those people are the ones that don't understand that space is boiling hot or subzero cold and the vacuum would suck your eyeballs out, not to mention the deadly gamma radiation. | |||
