| Ive only been listening to this band for a few days, I got the wishmaster Cd and the Once Album from a friend.
I must say im impressed, but their opera vocals didnt seem right at first to me but ive gotten used to them, but the instrumental of this band, dear god. is just awesome Go listen to them now! |

| Well, since the old Nightwish thread is on the second page this stays open. I have Century Child myself, and Cryus has Once. Both are great albums... I've heard the main track off Wishmaster and it is so cool!
I'm still so amazed that opera vocals could go with metal music so well, but yeah, wow. I didn't really need to "get used to it", it just sorta did that on it's own... of course the first song I heard from them was Phantom of the Opera, so perhaps that is why. Have you ever seen any music videos by them? I know there is one on Launch for Wish I Had an Angel... the male singer looks so bad ass! |
