| Well, yesterday (May 1st) was the group trip to the southern California Ren Faire for me, Cryus, GuardianOni, WhiteRose, Pockets, AngelBayB49, and Zabuza. It was real fun, shows were great, prices went up a bit (sadly), but it was fun... and then there was the best part...
Cryus, Oni, and Pockets proposed to me, WhiteRose, and AngelBayB49... on stage... in front of a whole crowd of people. There is a show called The Bold and Stupid Men, it's a hilarious show mainly because at one point women can voulnteer their men to be dragged on stage to learn "manly behavior". The boys had talked with the two guys that do the show earlier and planned this out, so when we were there all three were chosen. At the end of the session in public humiliation (as I call it) the men are supposed to go back to their women (who are standing up then) and kiss them... but they kept Cryus, Oni, and Pockets on stage. So the two guys that do the show called us up there as their “final judges” because they were not “up to par”. So they lined us up with each girl facing her man with space between us and they did the “bold and stupid man pose” which made me laugh, then they told us to stand next to our men while they were still holding that pose. As soon as we were there (and the audience figured it out), the two guys told Oni, Pockets, and Cryus to “assume the position… you know what to do”, so all three of them dropped to one knee and proposed at the same time. But that wasn't all (damn you Pockets). They went and plotted further so that when we went to watch the Queen's Court we were called up before her and recieved her blessings... yeah, we got blessed by Queen Elizabeth I, whoo hoo! AngelBayB49 has the pictures (taken by Zabuza as he and a group of our friends watched from the crowd) and shall post them as soon as she sees this. Then I'll move this to Sunset, but for now I wanted this in General so everyone could see it. |

Aren't I evil? It was a very fun day. I'm still just a little surprised and justifiably proud I think in the fact that the boys and I actually managed to pull that whole thing off without even the slightest hiccup of any kind. The guys at "Bold and Stupid Men," were very cool about it and very helpful. They did such a good job with it I actually asked one of them later if they'd had that happen before but they said that the three of us were the first time anyone had ever proposed on their stage. The Queens blessing I'll admit was entirely my plot but the guys jumped in on it as soon as I told them about it and all three of the girls were annoyed with us after the fact but they loved it at the same time. WhiteRose threatened me right after it was over when she found out it was my idea then she almost knocked me over in a HUGE hug. Anywho. Pictures posted once Angel has them up and we can get at them. |

| Elara forgot to mention one thing... I WASN'T PART OF THE PLAN!!!! I knew what was going to happen to Elara & WhiteRose, I helped distract them!! Then at the last minute, Pockets decided to "officially" propose, I guess you could say. It was hilarious, b/c Pockets was onstage & once I realized I was going up there too, I looked at the other two & said "Did you know about Pockets doing this?!?!?!?" The looked as shocked as I was. I think it's safe to say, ALL of us girls were shocked.

| And I look like crap in every picture...
I was in on the Oni/WhiteRose plan, and I suspected the Pockets/Angel part... but I had no clue about Cryus doing that to me. It didn't hit me until he was on one knee, and even then it took a moment to sink in. Time was a blur and then it stopped... and later I started crying from happiness... but yeah, best day ever. And my parents are dense... we decided to not tell them and just wait til they notice the ring... I practically had it under their noses and they didn't notice it. This may take awhile. |

THAT IS SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SWEET!!!!!!! *HUGGLES EVERYONE* OMG, congratulations to all of you, especially the guys. THat took a lot of planning and a lot of guts. THat was really romantic. *bounces around and huggles everyone in turn* The pictures almost made me cry. You all looked so beautiful/handsome.  Congrats, guys.

| I did so get one of you onstage, but it was obstructed by women and children whom were too stupid to move out of the way. And, had I known that Pockets was going to pop the question, I would have taken more pictures. But since I didn't know, I took one of you and WhiteRose/Oni...kind of.
Yes, I had to take the pictures since I don't have a special anyone to share a damned thing with. Therefore, by default, I become the photographer. Really, I'm happy for all of you, but can I at least play a bigger part in the wedding than being the photographer? I never get to do anything in anyone's parties other than photographer. Never picked for quincianeras (sp?). Never picked out for weddings. Never selected as a potential godfather for any of my cousins. No, but always used for family things (when I worked for Disneyland). And, always, the photographer or videographer working pro bono, then criticized for my artistic vision as a result of my gracious and free work. My rant over, I still congratulate and love you all. And, I take damn good pictures on short notice with a camera with which I had no familiarity. Just to summarize, my shirt read on the front, "THIS IS MY GARB (EXPLANATION ON THE BACK)." On the back, a lengthy explanation on the reason why a white t-shirt composed my entire garb for the Ren Faire. Next year, I shall be Wizard the Gay, and it shall be proper!! And, the three couples shall follow me!! |

| Thanks for your photography skills at the fair sir Wizard. It is much appreciated by me if by no one else. I'm pretty sure between the three couples that we can find a more subsantial role for you in the wedding(s).
I've seriously gotta say that Yesterday was by far one of the greatest days of my entire life thus far. It was a lot of fun tooling around the fair with my friends and the woman I am completely in love with. It was interesting to look through the booths. I saw so many things at the fair that I'd love to get my hands on. Next time I go I swear I need to have three or four hundred dollars in my pockets to go crazy with at the booths. Plotting this whole proposal and pulling it off like that was a great deal of fun, more than I've had in a really long time. By the end of the day my back was sore, my feet were killing me and my face was sunburnt but the whole day was more than worth it for the looks on the girls faces when we proposed and their reactions to the Queens Blessing on our engagements. |

My mom finally spotted the ring today, so the cat is out of the bag and they both know now... and surprisingly they didn't flip, since we told them that we're waiting a year or two to get married since we want to get careers going and stuff. That is just...wow...I can't get over this. I go from being in a school full of kids who laugh at the word "fart" (myself included.  ) to friends on the board who are getting married....I can't get over this...

| I can't believe they did this. I was in on the Elara/Cryus thing since ths start, but I had no idea wbout the other two. I could not stop crying when my oni asked me to marry him and I was just laughing and crying as he lifted me up and gave me a big hug in front of everyone.
I still hate you Pockets for the whole Queen Court things...ok, no I don't *glomps her cousin* Thanks to all three guy for making the day special. Thank you the two other girls for making sure I stayed cluless. Thank you Zabuza for taking great picture for us to remember this day. Thank you to all our friends who were there. And thank you to all who have given us your congradulations. They are much appreciated. What was so great as well if we kept having random people who saw the show come up to us as we walked through the fair for the rest of the day congradulating us. |
